Today has been cocktails all day. Had no fucking luck getting a good Singapore Sling in Newcastle. Very disappointing. Had plenty of others to keep me pissed. Caprioska, Gin Sour, Mohito (I don't think its a gay drink), "Singapore Sling" (notice inverted commas), and an Awesome Gin Sour (made with Blackwoods 8yr).

When I wake up, I think I might have a 1,4-b sour (try it, its actually quite nice).

I am not the biggest drinker in the world however I have found that my anti dep causes me to be able to drink quite copious ammounts and continue to function quite well.

My drink of choice is bourbon and coke, to be more specific as specifics are important, im a JB and C drinker ready mixed.

The big news on the block is that you can now buy a half litre pre mixed JB&C in a can.

Does life get any more awesomeness than that?

Each bottle makes 20 standard drinks.

and to make 20 bourbon and cokes, you would need about 15 cans of coke.........lets say they are on special and cost about 10 dollars.

So your 20 drinks has now cost about 48 dollars.

More or less $2.40 per standard drink.



Premixed costs about $80.00 a slab although if I drive to richmond, apparently i can get them for 70.

But lets say 80 and for that you get 24 cans at 1.5 per can makes 36 standard drinks.

that equals about $2.30 per standard drink.


yeah maybe i could buy bottles of coke but then it goes flat and wouldnt make that much difference anyways price wise.




So bottom line is its six of one and half a dozen of the other.




Except i drink more cans cos they are easy to pull out of the fridge than make a glass...........lol.
