You'd have to take a lot more than half an 8mg suboxone to cause precipitated withdrawal from 30mg of oxy.

MAYBE if you shot the oxy, then snorted the suboxone right after but even then I'm not sure you'd experience precipitated withdrawal from such a small amount of narcan administered through such an inefficient ROA. Narcan works really well IV'd but thats about it.

I never experienced precipitated withdrawal from suboxone...

Hey 6/7 I'm not too sure what you mean here wouldn't 3mg of suboxone need .75ml of alchohol or did you mean the other way around? I just thought some that are using your method step by step may be confused by that. Good stuff though I don't even use a syringe, and just eye ball the alcohol and it still works great. Thanks man=D

Wouldn't you be using WATER to IV the suboxone? Are you seriously supposed to use alcohol, and if so what kind? Rubbing alcohol? Sorry if these are retarded questions.. :\
 
^ If you would have paid attention, you would know the alcohol is for sublingual use. I would never suggest anyone use alcohol for IV use.

To Johnny Blue: I meant .25ml per 1mg, so yes, .75ml for 3mg. Thanks for pointing out that mistake.

THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME POTENCY. They both contain identical amounts of buprenorphine, which is the active drug. 8mg suboxone = 8mg subutex = 8mg buprenorphine. The feeling is exactly the same. Some people report headaches from suboxone (from the naloxone), but forget about that. They are exactly the same.

I wouldn't, but a lot of people on here do shit that I would never do. Can't you just go spend $2 on a small bottle of the cheapest vodka you can find?
Or if you're under 21/lazy/poor, check the other ingredients in Listerine. If they are things you don't mind having up your ass, go for it. Its about 25% alcohol, so that should work.
I guess you could do it. :\

I thought when you plugg you use water.. not alcohol. Isn't the alcohol just for sublingual?

Isn't shooting it up your ass the 2nd best to IV? I was told to dilute 8mg of suboxone in 2ml of water in a syringe and blast it up my ass...

evo: you're confusing what we were talking about, sublingual and plugging. don't put alcohol anywhere except in your mouth. not in your asshole or veins. and heed 6/7's advice. he is the manager of bluelight.
 
Well thanks for shining light into this.

The thing about how it made me feel, it was very similar to how I felt the day after a 5 day morphine binge. (low doses about 30-50mg a day) as well as pretty much any time I use morphine over a prolonged period of time. I had a headache, nausea and bad aching in my lower back and neck. The aching occurred in the same spots as it did with morphine. I'd have to get into a certain position lying down to relieve it.

I am otherwise perfectly healthy so there's no separate reason that this should be happening. Do the opiates just kill all my endorphins so I'm more sensitive to pain/aching?

So anyways, I still have a quarter (2mg) left of that sub. When do you think a safe time to take it would be? I am still feeling the effects of what I took this morning and also still have some of the aching.

Why? Buprenorphine is much stronger at the brain’s receptor sites than any other opiates – such as heroin, painkillers, or methadone. This means that some Buprenorphine will be used to throw the other opiates off the sites causing the experience of violent and rapid withdrawal. Then there may not be enough buprenorphine left to re-occupy the opiate receptor sites. This is called precipitated withdrawal. If you are already in mild withdrawal, many receptor site are empty so most of the buprenorphine can be used for occupying them and little wasted on expelling other opiates."


i read this and it got me wondering, does that mean that someone in precipitated withdrawal from bupe could just take more bupe to fill the empty receptors and it would stop the w/d's? it seems that's what is implied here, but i'm not sure if it's true. anyone know? (just curious, i've never experienced precipitated w/d and don't plan to)
 
^ No no no no, that would be a very bad idea. Taking more buprenorphine will just make it worse. The only cure for precipitated withdrawal is a full agonist.
 
yeah that's what i always thought, but that paragraph implies that if there was enough buprenorphine to go around to all of the receptors after ripping off other opiates, the precipitated withdrawal wouldn't happen. maybe it's just not worded well or something.

YOU FUCKERS BETTER NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! this shit saves lives. its a miracle drug its NOT to get high on. thank god i didnt have to get on methadone
