tripping in your dreams

yeah had some tabs in my dream that were so beast they hit instantly, called Omega sane with a white circle on black tab with a smaller s in the middle

Sometimes I wish though that I can get a nightmare, I honestly don't remember the last time I had one, the experience is just really exciting. hmm...

I would certainly agree that dreams are enjoyable; I dream vividly and lucidly most nights- however, I have very regular nightmares, and trust me, they are not at all enjoyable. If they were less vivid, they wouldn't have much impact...as it is, when I hae a nightmare my body generally goes nuts- moving, sweating, occaisonal walking, talking- and I wake up feeling awful, as the dreamstate is lucid for me, and so the fearful thoughts can carry over.

In terms of a drug being like a dream, I reckon deleriants are similar; for that matter, delerium is similar to a lucid nightmare.

Ha.. the last nightmare I had was as a kid.. probably too many fairy tale books or something. Though I'm sure that taking psychedelics in a bad set&setting is a sure way to LIVE a nightmare ;).

i had a dream in wich i did lsd. It was weird cos ive never actualy done lsd haha, all i remember is jumping on my bed and the walls changing colours and moving and stuff...retarded huh

^^^ lol that sounds crazy but it would probably work for me. thats a great idea because its the same for me. i dream about wut i was thinking about wen i fell asleep.

This reminds me of what Hobbes says about thought momentum: a thought in your mind, like many other things is only changed by change - by factors of causality if you will, producing a type of friction or interaction. In absence of this, something will just keep on going and going like an object in outer space.

I think when dreaming there are certainly unconscious factors that cause interaction but comparing to waking consciousness they are limited. So in a way if something is on the move at the moment of falling asleep it will not be affected anymore by linear logic and immediate modulation, does that make sense?

Sure, stuff happens in your dreams but it's merely jumbling of processes that were already in motion, on some level always ultimately originating from the waking state.
This is confirmed by the idea that the function of sleep and dreaming is to tie up the loose ends that accumulate during the day. It is time we need to play out the games of consciousness we started or that started us, preparing us for more the next day.

Odd though- because when asleep, all animals (including humans) are at their most vulnerable- and this is for roughly half our living existence. If sleep and dreams were merely a way of 'tying' up loose ends', then evolution, as we know it- ie. traits adapted for survival, is wrong. Isn't it odd that we HAVE to shut down every single day, for a long long portion of it? This kinda suggests that PERHAPS, the point of waking life is to actually experience, not simply survive.

But I digress; its just hard to find something that dreaming/sleeping seems really important for, contrasted with the hours of vulnerability it entails. Apparently, people who have solid sleep have up to 15% better memory recall; however, that benefit is still overshadowed by the fact that you have to be unconcious for any of that to occurr.

I've had dreams where i was smoking weed but that's as far as my drug experience goes in my dreams..

Lucid dreams are the best..where you actually know your dreaming and it looks way more vivid than real life..First time i became lucid, the first thought that came to me was that i wanted to fly..it felt so real that it woke me up because i got that feeling in my stomach...

Lately I've been having lots of dreams enjoying some beautiful girl's company..like every night.. if only it involved girls and drugs...then I'll be in heaven :)

yea the other night i had a dream i had a roll the size of a cookie, took a bite n was rollin in my dream.... also had a dream dat i took 2 tabs of acid bt dont really remember it 2 good

As a kid I certainly disliked nightmares like everyone else, but as I grew older and started to get less and less nightmares (not really sure why, I have my own theories on this matter) I occasional desire them because of the way I've been able to look at them in retrospect. I see them now as say a thriller, action, or horror movie, not so much a scary experience.

i dreamed last night, and i ate some shrooms in the dream, and i tripped BALLS in the dream, its like it was real has this happened to you 8o

yes. and many have posted this sort of experience before.....it kinda sucks when you wake up. huh? i have even dreamed i was doing drugs i had never done before and totally felt the high......weird how the brain works, eh?

I've smoked DMT twice in dreams and both times I had more intense experiences than I have had with DMT sober.

I also seem to do a lot of acid in dreams, but half the time it doesn't work.

Aye swilow..

My experiences with diphenhydramine (pretty high doses) i could only describe as living a nightmare. My worst fears were happening all around me and it was real to me.* It wasn't like being on a drug and freakin out, or havin a bad time.. to you it is reality.. and it hates you.

*Girlfriend dumped me while cuddled up next to another boy, next to me on the bed (she was there.. but was alone and asleep).. and to make matters worse, my 3 best mates were all in the room laughing at me, calling me pathetic and generally being nasty.. I ended up walkin from my gfs to my parents at half 3 in the mornin with the idea of hangin myself as i had just lost my 4 best mates which are major factors to why life is worth living.. luckily i started comin off it on the walk and began to doubt the truth behind what i had just experienced but it wasn't till midday the next day i knew for sure. (when i met my gf and asked her)

Was exactly like lucid dreamin (lucid nightmares anyway..) but with a little bit of reality mixed in every now and again. (like REAL people talkin / environment.. well.. sometimes.. lol i nearly fell down the stairs cos i tried steppin over somethin that wasn't there and attempt to walk thru a wall to the right :\

Very interesting drug i must say.

Went to sleep after a good weekend prescription of lovehearts, crystal MDMA, and 2drops liquid acid, also took Ketamine(first and last time!). Apparently started screaming in my sleep at 3am for a few mins then again at 5am for half an hour! Was impossible to wake me up from the trip even looking me dead straight in the eye i didnt recognise anyone!?!?!

ive had a mescaline slushie while walking around my highschool in a dream once. the mescaline tasted like sugar though! haha

First time i became lucid, the first thought that came to me was that i wanted to fly..it felt so real that it woke me up because i got that feeling in my stomach...

Haha the exact same thing happened to me. I made sure that I flew alot before I woke up though.

Unfortunately, I rarely dream lucidly.

Fortunately, I do a lot of blow in my dreams... ;)

lol ive only ever dreamt about doing coke in dreams.

it was probably my favourite dream of all time lol, i just remember alot of females and a line the size of a dinner plate, i could really feel the line too, i thought it really happened until i woke up.

dreams are wierd...

My dreams are wierd as hell enough when I'm stone cold sober in waking life (somehow 'in real life' seems the wrong term to describe this) but I've done things like hook myself up to a fentanyl IV drip in dreams and got completely gouched, I've never done fentanyl, but I've done my fair share of opioids so I know what being smacked off my tits is like, and in that dream I was completely fuckfaced:D

sober ones are just as wierd though, I dreamed of walking with an old friend, smoking a bong last night, down an alley of trees, with, oddly enough, dead squirrels, balanced on their heads, leant against the bases of the trees, the way dreams can combine something that seems totally ordinary with the absolutely surreal is so strange, and damn, it was as vivid as it would have been if I had been doing it fully awake, the smell of dead squirrel and burning herb in the dream was overpowering.

two nights ago i had a dream where i ate exctacy on three consecutive weekends and told myself i need to slow down on the beans, woke up like oh wait thank god i havnt been eating that shit this whole past month hah.

then just last night i had a dream where i did ayahuasca, even though ive never done it. it was super awesome and beautiful visuals... if its half as amazing in real life im going to have to get me some vine...

Generally speaking on DXM anyway, i find i probably will be up all night anyhow so no dreaming for me.

But a couple times ive netted a few hours of sleep, pretty much nothing.

Although the one time, as I woke up, I had this feeling like I was shooting up from underneath a thick ocean. Like I was emerging back into the world as a normal person since it had worn off lol.
