One year ago I had 60mg Hydromorphone tolerence and then quit. Now, 2 month ago, I didn't use opioids for a good 6 months.
I did an order of 50pods, that come from Florida, I did a tea from 7g ground (3 pods ground) and had a great high , that take 2-3 hours to come up and last a good 8h - 12h, I was surprise as hell and couldnt beleive that. I also had a great NOD and hitching. I used pod many time afterward, potency was alway different with every batch I got.
Therefore, with all these experiences I had with Papaver somniferum and with all my previous experience and problems I had with Opioids, I personally can't agree with some of your statements rachamim , that are about the VERY LOW potency of Poppy; even if all your post in this thread are awsome and I agree with most of the rest.
I would like to ear the oppignion of others BL'S
Also, I find that the analgesic properties of Poppy tea is far better than those of Morphine and Hydrocodone and close if not better than those of Oxycodone.
I personally found poppy pods after using kratom for about 8 months (and any tolerance I gained from that was minimal, I'm sure). I've been using for about 3 months regularly (by regular I mean as often as everyday and no less often than every other day). I endured quite a terrible withdrawal and of course was lured back to the pods no sooner than a week afterwards.
I kept my use under control for a while but naturally got addicted after using for about 3 weeks (though certainly less often) and endured another withdrawal episode over the past few days.
My personal opinion is that rachamims statements may be estimating the pods to be somewhat weaker than they are. I certainly cannot prove it, and I don't mean to argrue, merely stating my opinion. Providing my subjective (and useless in terms of facts, but nonetheless I offer it) opinion, I would say that when I started using the pods, it would take me about 8 golf ball pods to feel a significant high, equal in terms of euphoria to 15mg of oxycodone I had taken before (although certainly more sedating).
After 3 months of regular use I noted that the poppy experience had turned to crap and faced the inevitable withdrawals. I try to control my useage somewhat and try not to get back into the pattern I was in before (and already have failed at that miserably, I must admit) but it takes me about 12 medium pods to get a moderate to extreme sense of euphoria and considerable respiratory depression (shallow, slow breathing). I would consider myself to have mild tolerance compared to most but to me 12 pods feels great. My gut feeling is that there is more morphine in my pods than rachamim suggests, but I cannot disprove it. All I can offer is my opinion and experience.

Nonetheless, I do not come here to argue validity of the statements made, strictly the arguments themselves (are they vaild, sound, etc). And I can tell you rachamim, you need a lot of work on your own before you begin to pick apart others.
