Sometimes it takes away so much anxiety that can give me some euphoria.

For me it is the complete lack of anxiety - I suffer with severe anxiety and benzo do exactly what they say on the run. It gives me a feeling of what it must be like to feel normal. It’s amazing and that alone gives me a kind of euphoria. I LOVE diazepam and Clonazepam. Literally my favourite drug - takes all worry and fear away

also if you take a moderate to moderate dosage of these substances without any underlying anxiety with low extraversion and low neuroticism, a lot of people in your surroundings will be completely fresked out or put at unease just from your body language and facial expressions (or more like the lack of) in my experiences. This happens even if i dont do or say anything unusual.

Same here! I can’t imagine that they would ever give me a ‘real’ high like people expect from substances. Not like mdma, mcat, ket, heroin, coke, etc. it’s the feeling of not worrying literally every second of the day that is the appeal - allows me to live my life and actually accomplish things, it’s not quite a high but it sure damn feels good when I’ve had times I've had to do without for 2 or 3 weeks to then have 10mg diazepam… clear and sober head, normal worry, can leave the house without building up to it for two hours.
