Having hired a LOT of vehicles in my time, I know when someone has been offered 'a cheap deal' when I see it.
Same one-man security detail who is clearly an idiot as he repeatedly leans into the vehicle to ask Brand exactly what to do for NINTY SECONDS thus NOT looking for potential attack vectors. While the rat on his head has got a bit fatter, I think it telling that he's wearing that same tight (and very tasteless) faux-leather jacket. You know the one.
Then we clearly see there are six uniformed police officers and a couple of security guard of the court, so it's self-evident that faux-rathead is just a motley.
I asked someone about RBs 'burn rate' i.e. how much money he's chucking about to APPEAR the success he isn't. Shades of the Tates, methinks. It seems he goes to great lengths to avoid his name being on bills but the bloke with the rodent on his bonce likely hired the vehicles (for example) and he's employed by someone else so on paper the known outgoings are all to shell companies.
But the burn-rate is clearly hurting.
When he turned up hosting the semi-final of some obscure US boxing league, that tells us he will do anything that pays... as long as his viewers don't get to learn of it.
I tell you what, how quickly things change. A 2023 article in The Guardian claimed he had 500,000 viewers on his Monday to Friday one hour 'Aren't I great' Rumble channel but as I noted after checking, they only get 35,000-45,000 views in total, not the 500,000 of two plus years ago.
It's wisdom taught to me by my grandparents that you cut your clothing to your cloth. But Brand if anything is going the other way.
To me, this all smells of desperation.
He doesn't need any security as the only people who turn up to his court appearences are the press, apart from that one bloke on the other side of the street who clearly just stopped to see what was occuring. Everyone else is seen just walking past totally disintereted. But he feels the need to project the sense that he IS in physical danger BUT it's sad because he clearly cannot afford a professional security detail so it all ends up looking EXACTLY like a disgraced ex-TV personality who thinks if he just stays calm and looks hard, the jury will take a gander and remark how nobody that much like a rapist could possibly BE a rapist.
With my home-made psychiatrist's hat on, it demonstrates that Brand is a narcissist and a psychopath. He feels the constant need to project an image BUT he doesn't have the intelligence to understand basic things like the permanence of objects. I bet he thinks nobody has noticed what a sad display he in fact makes of himself because he THINKS he's more intelligant than EVERYONE else.
Any competent KC would tell him NOT to look in any way threatening. Things like smiling and waving so people see him as a normal person who by pure bad luck to have been targetted by someone who must have a personal grievence. Not to look like an East End villian who knows they are on their way to a long stretch in chokey. But that's a narccicist for you. They need to feel superior.

I'm going to guess 10-12 because like the rest of us, I don't have access to all of the evidence but this wasn't a one-off. The police advised the CPS to focus on the charges between 1999-2009 in spite of futher claims made in 2013. Now when a police force essentially asks only for specimen charges, that generally means they feel their is sufficient evidence so the cost of adding the charges made in 2013 won't materially alter the outcome.
