Worldwide Cannabis Users: What are you currently smoking?

Tree spirit from one of my favorite dispos in Colorado and some blueberry caviar from New mexico. A friend just came back to ny from a road trip lol

Edit: I gotta get this off my chest, this weed makes me HATE new york and I live and work here. Someone please tell me why the shit that is 15 dollars an 8th retail in Colorado is better than what the fuck new york sells for over 50 an 8th? I hate it here lol

Just finished an approx 0.35g single skinner of a strain called Candy Fumes or something like that anyway, will ask my mate who gifted it to me when I see her in a couple days

Have never even heard of strain previously, seriously impressed. Am lifted on 0.35g,
deeply medicinal hit, feeling fantastic. Really hoping I'll get access to more but my source is chaotic
 
So the "leave samples here" box on my desk was officially full so I brought it home. Rn I have to work my way through samples of:

Sour diesel
Galactic warheads
Wrong holler
Bubba mintz
Northern lights
Unruly cookies
Purple starfruit
Some pulp
Hickory hash
Fork yeah
Sangre de Cristo
Tree Spirit
Lemon cherry gelato
Black widow
And strawberry sour diesel.

Who wants to help me work through all this? Lol

Terrible job but I suppose someone has gotta do it eh 😜

It would take me ages to provide objective feedback on that lot as I'd have to make sure I was completely sober prior to each sample 'investigation' (although I wouldn't be turning the 'job' down ofc). Been years since I've seen any Sour Diesel, one of my alltime faves

Honestly, its not an easy job. Its fun as fuck, but insanely difficult if you want to operate at a truly high level. At this point im sort of like the rick rubin of weed lol. Im 110% confident that I know what I like and what I like is good weed. Granted, that doesnt matter much because not everyone can afford good weed, so its really finding a balance of quality and what you can actually move in your store. You gotta know cannabis just as much as you know the area that you operate in/your customer base/your potential customer base. Theres amazing product that I pass on all the time for a variety of reasons. You can have all the great weed in the world but if you cant move it then all you really have is an expensive spice rack, ya know?

Honestly, original true ny sour diesel doesnt fucking exist in any commercial capacity. Sour diesel itsself is both not the easiest to grow (if you haven't mastered the wet/dry cycle, dont bother) + most people aren't using hps and metal halide lamps to grow + the grow media and processes have changed (promix's proprietary recipe changed a while back) + genetic drift is a fucking whore. There are a few of the original diesel genetics floating around (aj's/designer genetics, sour family's "5 our diesel", uncle doobie's hunter mtn cut, I think the chaco and rezdog cuts are floating around too), old school sour was like a 12-13 week finisher that neither had huge yields (by modern standards) nor was it a great hasher.

Then you have the whole bullshit of flavored nicotine vapes that entered the market like 10-12 years ago that got the youth demographic wanting candy and fruit profiles, which lead to the modern epidemic of candy polyhybrid bullshit.

*sigh* whoever the fuck is responsible for turning the loudness of packs down needs to go to jail for eleventy trillion years for being found guilty of hate crimes against cannabis AND for being lame as fuck.
