Looking at atranol in particular at 2% of dry weight, plus the need to dimethylate the 2 hydroxy groups, one would need a shit ton of lichen to make a very obscure and honestly unappealing psychedelic that again, would be easier made synthetically.

OT:
Recently I was very fortunate to access some 2C-D and mescaline as the hydrochloride salts. So far, in the world of psychedelic phenethylamines, I've used DOM, DOB, DOC, 3C-P, allylescaline, full spectrum mescaline acetate, peyote (notably unique), 2C-B, 25B-NBOH, 25B-NBOMe, 25I-NBOMe, 25E-NBOH and 25C-NBOMe. I think that's the full list of them so far at least. I recently tried to do a full rundown of the list of everything I've ever tasted and the list is 174 entries long, but I am not about to sift through them all looking for phenethylamines I might've missed haha.

2C-D, expectedly, felt like 2C-DOM if that makes sense. There's a distinctly ambiguous cognitive enhancement and very noticeable somatic enhancement from DOM that I felt in 2C-D. 2C-D commanded more erotic energy than 2C-B ever has in my opinion which is extraordinarily high praise. 2C-D really bangs in combos, memantine, DPT, mitragynine, THC/HHC, a tisane of Ephedra sinica, even etizolam didn't really interfere, all of this reminds me heavily of 2C-B but 2C-D seems to be more of a team player if that makes sense.

Mescaline HCl down to 75mg was well noticeable which I did not expect, and it's fascinating how when compared to peyote or full spectrum extracts from cacti there is simultaneously some set of characteristics that become significantly enhanced, and others that aren't really noticeable. Simultaneously more than I expected in certain ways and nearly invisible in other ways.

300mg of mescaline HCl was fantastic, 75mg was useful and far more noticeable than expected, and mescaline certainly appears to produce tolerance whereas 2C-D seemed to resemble 2C-B in not forming tolerance that I could notice. For mabon I'll be trying it at 500mg, I'm quite excited. Hopefully I'll be employed soon, got through the certification processes I needed to knock out today, officially passed as of this morning.

Took 70mg of memantine and maybe my scale is off because, fuck, this really caught me off guard. I've been trying to establish an understanding of its "plateaus" akin to DXM because it does appear to exhibit that kind of dose-response curve. Feels like I ate a bunch of PCP, it's quite strange. I've got a mason jar full of the hydrochloride salt so I've been using it in compounding experiments, it mixes with mescaline, LSD and DOM quite well. Tonight's an MGM-15, mirogabalin, etizolam, THC/HHC and memantine kind of night, but the real hype is aimed at mabon mescaline.

Almost sheer guesswork, but i'd say a solid 80mg of MDMA anecdotally. I knew what it was supposed to be (friend and I rolled earlier in the week)...I'm not crazy enough for total ground finds lol! I was just like...what is that half circle neon green thingy on my floor... doesn't look like something the dog should eat and...here we are!

I've lost gel tabs I later found on the floor and just cracked in half, ate my half and threw the other to my fiance. High school me though did not want to be alive and I absolutely sampled some random floor opioids during the pill mill days.
