Hello guys,
As some of you may know, first generation are supposed to be great in combination with opioids. Especially, promethazine, phenyltoloxamine, phenindamine or tripelennamine seem to enhance the euphoria from opioids.
Unfortunately, most of them are hard to get nowadays; I believe for this exact reason.
I read in a german speaking drug forum(eve rave) that there was one guy who was searching for the perfect antihistamine combination for opioids. He liked promethazine obviously, but he also mentioned that trimipramine is a fine choice.
Trimipramine itself is an antidepressant with almost nil monoaminergic reuptake inhibition, yet its allegedly still a good AD. It primarily antagonizes histaminergic(h1, h2), serotoninergic(5ht2a) and adrenergic(a1). It also moderately blocks cholinergic receptors and even dopaminergic receptors weakly. In fact, it has a similar binding profile to clozapine.
It also works great for sleeping, „brightens“ REM sleep and overall seems to be very effective for that indication.
Im thankful for any experiences or information.
