Kratom Questions for those who have tried Kratom

I have the opportunity to try kratom but I suffer badly from nausea (I have a very sensitive gut and a diagnosis of functional nausea).

How bad is the nausea from kratom likely to be? Codeine and dihydrocodeine make me fairly nauseous. Is it a case of everyone gets it or are some people okay? Is there anything you can do to mitigate it and are certain strains of it less likely to produce that effect?

I'm taking pregabalin and amitriptyline every day, have done for 10 years, am obviously completely tolerant etc. Is it okay to have kratom on top of these? I'm guessing so since they are not doing anything other than keeping me out of withdrawals, actually I think the amitriptyline still causes constipation but that's okay, I can sort that with laxatives, even if kratom makes it worse.

Any replies much appreciated.

Everybody is slightly different, but I had to stop using kratom due to nausea. I really could not tolerate it. It was even worse after regular use.

I take it at the lowest range, 1g-2.5 g . The one time I tried going up to about 4 g, I felt awful and thought I'd puke. I personally refuse to go up that high again.
But those lower doses work well enough for me. But I also only take it 1 or 2 times a week max these days. Personally, I think it can be a nice little thing to do, but it doesn't work well if I increase my frequency. Kind of meh then.

U take the leaf or 7oh?

I was growing my dosage up steadily to fairly high levels, started getting nausea and then I suddenly it made me throw up.

I can't eat it any more, even a 1-2g will make me puke.

making a tea with it really helps boil it in a pan and filter through a coffee filter, I can still keep that down fine but iirc you need to dose higher when you make tea, I also found adding honey to it helped, as does reducing it so you can swallow the tea in a single gulp.

When you get nauseous from it, does it spoil the high or is it still good? I'm guessing it spoils it from what people have said. Many thanks everyone who replied, by the way.
