What's the most common form of mescaline that is main stream available? I'm pretty sure that's what I have access to. Can you tell me if it lacks any of the magic verses peyote
I also have this very big fear that I damaged my heart from long term meth use. I have been having painful and scary chest pains that I swore was a heart attack. Only to go to the hospital and all the tests came back fine. I have been sweating profusely, I don't know if it's because of the California weather and me being on the east coast and not used to it or if there is an underlying condition. I have rapid heartbeat , the irregular heartbeat. It comes and goes I don't feel like this all the time but I feel deep down something is wrong and there's damage.
Sorry for rambling I just don't want to do a psychedelic and then be scared for 12 hours that I'm going to have a heart attack from discomfort.
Or maybe I just can't do psychedelics anymore? I was just hoping mescaline would be an exception and it would maybe change my perception of life to the point where I can put down a lot of harmful addictions and habits.
Peyote is different. What's the most common form of mescaline that is main stream available? I'm pretty sure that's what I have access to. Can you tell me if it lacks any of the magic verses peyote
Very nicely put thank you for telling me all of this I really appreciate it. I feel a little bit better about you saying my nervous system may be a little out of whack and not damaged hopefully. I'm most comfortable when I'm at home so I think I'm going to do it at home and wait until It kicks in until I venture out
Before I had taken it, I'd seen Beavis and Butthead do america, and I based my expectations off of that, so I was expecting super intense schizo type experience. But then I realized it was just as much of a heart opener as it is a psychedelic.
There are a few drugs where I don't agree with natural is better, cactus and toads for instance have more alkaloids than synthetic version, pukey alkaloids too. I always opt for less puking for safety. In 2012 i had stomach issues that caused me to vomit>dry heave>tear neck artery and have stroke. So heavy vomiting for me is risk factor I have to avoid. I have done mescaline 3 times now and not puked and done 5-meo-dmt 100s of times without puking. 99 percent of the "natural is better crowd" probably can't source synthetic, anyone can grow a cactus or terrorize a toad.
One of the best is the scene from Blueberry the western movie. The protagonist and antagonist both drink peyote and have a psychic battle. It's very visual. You're very welcome! I want to remind you again to be very patient and go very slow/conservatively. If working with pure material, 50 mg may be enough to feel it a little and get a taste. Of course everyone responds a little bit different.
When I came back to psychedelics after 11 years of abstinence, I was suffering from dysautonomias. This is a kind of umbrella term for regulatory dysfunctions of the autonomic nervous system. Dysautomias are poorly understood by contemporary medicine and treatments tend to focus on limiting the adverse impact of symptoms. For example, many people are hyper-adrenergic---their nervous systems tend to be way too easily triggered to a highly aroused state, and beta blockers are often prescribed to try to limit that.
Psychedelics including mescaline actually triggered dysautonomic episodes in me. Sometimes they occurred during the come-up, but most often it was right at the point in the plateau that the effects noticeably dropped off. The interesting thing is that in the aftermath of these experiences, the dysautomias I had been suffering from calmed down, and the reduction of my symptoms seemed to accumulate with repetition. Now I'm mostly well and can tolerate full doses of most psychedelics without triggering any episodes. I suspect this improvement has to do with retraining the nervous system to react appropriately to difficult or rapidly changing environmental conditions, and that psychedelics have the ability to accelerate training progress, even as they challenge the autonomic nervous system through their profound actions in the body and brain.
In any case, I wish you the best and hope your experiences follow my own in these regards.
That's fucking hilarious! I'm trying to think of other movie depictions of mescaline experiences---"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" comes to mind, but of course that also involved a bunch of other drugs too.
I dunno man. Synthetic mescaline has never me nauseous, but a lot of folks do get made and I assume they've higher concentrations of 5HT2C receptors genetically and some people are just more prone to puke than others. I have a good friend, and he pukes every single time he takes LSD, which I've always considered as the psychedelic with the least body load. 2C-D is more nauseating than mescaline by far to me.. Cactus is a different story, maybe the material itself or other alkaloids but with cactus is puke 30% of the time.I assume based on many reports that pure mescaline is innately nausea-inducing in a dose-dependent way,
If its synthetic, I'd say the most common forms would be sulfate, hemisulfate, or hydrochloride salts. The HCL is the most potent but it usually requires a 2nd step so sulfate/hemisfulfate or a mix are more common than the HCL and the hemisfulate is a close 2nd in potency. I do not want to say that synthetic is any less magic than peyote but it is different. It's certainly cleaner feeling in every possible way. And out of the cacti I've taken, I actually find peyote to be... the most high frequency. Like everything is just vibrating including the air. IMO peyote is probably more likely to induce a difficult experience, then the san pedros, then the synthetic. Again the synthetic is like a way more visual less pushy MDA.What's the most common form of mescaline that is main stream available? I'm pretty sure that's what I have access to.
