Does thought always proceed action?

I’m so sorry @kiely because you deserve so much better. You’re so smart and kind hearted. I really hope things get better for you. No one is ever entitled to making you miserable. I’m just so sorry that this is what you have to deal with. You sound like I was with my ex for years before I finally left. I kept trying to tell him it was over but then he’d just play all the same shit you’re talking about until it got exhausting. I’d end up staying just because it was easier. But I was so repulsed by him. I cried when we had sex. It was bad. I just turned my cheek. I wouldn’t even let him kiss me. I’d just let him have his way with me just so he would shut up for awhile. I think he depended on his appearance so much that he forgot to develop some character lol. I finally just had to go file for divorce
 
But if I recall the event I'd say that I was shocked.

How would I know to be shocked? What was it that shocked me? Did I know before I froze?
 
I think thats a critical distinction here.

Subconscious thought does not lie, but consciousness does. In terms of chicken and the egg, action has more power than the thought.

An action will generate more thought than a thought might generate action. One is tangible, the other doesn't exist. But the chicken existed before the egg... eh

Yes see this is where the two questions overlap.

I don't know enough to say one way or another, because we've never had a mass thought event that is measurable (at least I don't think so?) like @M!$TER-ED mentioned measurement.

because somebody wants something that I can't give them. Because it's a game to them and the environment that is all that they know. Because it's something to do and they don't have anything else. It's all my own sick fault too because I don't have it in me anymore to get up and get on with the rest of my life or at least do what I have to instead of playing chase all day because I have no other option now. Well there won't be if you don't have to be around them. Power. Get rid of someone. And then play the part that they themselves did and can never say no wrong. Ever. But it's more fun to say it than it's not. Because it's Dope. Constant dope all day long with something because it's always not enough not enough not enough. They believe their own lies and I get the crossfire ... all the time.

Now this is what it looks like when dumb shit must be said. Didn't we just learn already. No Never. Sorry too. But I'm trying hard not to be around it anymore either.

I'm an addict. So it gives someone the entitlement to fuck me because they look bored. There is too much in life to do use the excuse of being bored.

I'm trying hard to get the fuck up and I believe that eventually I can. Because I have to. Doesn't this feel ridiculous right now though. I hate when I have to do all of this because someone wants at me so bad .... so yeah they can win and look like the bl hero again and again.

Now I got all this stupid shit on me again when I know I should just leave. But I get sicker everyday. It's creepy scary. But what's the worse that can happen to me. I won't be alive anymore. It's personal you know. Some animals just like to run of and die alone in their own fucking Peac.e RRRRRR uggg.

I'm sorry @Ki3ly you’re not alone. That's the beauty of his community, no one gets left out. I have to admit, lately life has been challenging for me also. Mostly due to medication issues, my point is, life is unpredictable, life doesn't play nice all of the time. I guess that's the cost of being here as far as the alternative I'll have to wait and see. Thank you, I really appreciate your posts and insight on things, you matter, we all do.

When it comes to behavior analysis theres a specific secret intelligence manual about understanding and influencing human behavior you’d probably enjoy reading. I had to practically memorize the whole book in college since my degrees in forensic psychology. I know these techniques are ethically questionable but it’s necessary information when it comes to forensic psychology and interrogation. You’re usually dealing with psycho paths and socio paths. They’re kinda in a league of their own. You gotta be calculating with applied skills and persuasion. You gotta know the human psychology thats essential for persuasion. You gotta know how to access someone’s core programming by using the language of the brain stem. It’s like the software programs of the mind. It’s the behavioral scripts running in the background. In intelligence operations when you’re dealing with people like this time becomes the ultimate predator. As a field operator you’re faced with the necessity of securing total compliance with someone in a matter of minutes sometimes even seconds. It’s like a dance with the architecture of influence. You have to learn how to stop being just a user of human interaction and start looking for the admin password to someone’s brain. Our conscious logic is just a ghost in the machine. But the ghost isn’t the one controling the narrative thats defining their behaviors. You have to trigger the current of the main power switch to test the potenial of its voltage. We are taught to believe that it’s about facts and "winning" the debates. But if you can bypass the cognitive firewall of logic it can render the persons critical faculties irrelevant. It is the difference between trying to convince a door to open and simply just having the key to the deadbolt.

In the right hands there’s techniques that can dismantle deep seated traumas or help leaders form unbreakable connections with their teams. But in the wrong hands they can become the master key to the most private chambers of the human mind. We like to believe our thoughts are our own…protected by firewalls of logic and personality. But those walls are actually very thin. But it’s not really about how the mind actually works. It’s about finding out what doors someone would be willing to open and which ones they need to already be locked out of before they ever get that chance.

How very well put. I'm kind of intrigued by this manual you mention. I promise to mostly be a good boy if given the ref. Another BL user on here recommended the "Art of Hunting Humans" to me and she was kind enough to mail that to me, it that seems to be very much in the same league. I'm also slowly getting through a book entitled "Emotional Intelligence."
