i wrote this as a replay on someone's post, but i wanted to make it its own post so maybe i can get more people to see it and comment. i really need help here...

the thing is, i'm experiencing more depression and anxiety than i ever have in my life. it's a stressful time right now and my living arrangement is kinda up in the air. i Just got a good job so now i can start saving up money to move to a more stable place- like my own apartment. i'm battling ovarian cancer at the same time as all this and going through chemo. so to say it's a stressful time is a HUGE understatement. but... over the last 4 or 5 months, i feel like i've lost a huge part of me.
[just to give you an idea, i was taking about 120-150mg of mgm15/day. i would usually just take the whole dose in the morning and be good all day. i was fine with kratom powder, to take it or leave it. i would take it once a day or 3 times a day, whenever i had it. but it wasn't until i switched to 7oh ,because it was a new thing in the shop and i didn't have enough to get regular extract, that i started to feel the physical addiction. as soon as i start 7oh, it all got away from me and within 1 week of using it, i was dependent. and i haven't stopped until now. and i'm REALLY struggling. it's been about 5 days since i've had mgm15. i've been taking easy septavex to ease SOME of the wd- like diarrhea, but nothing is making me feel better. i'm on edge from the time i wake up, which is too early, till the time i reluctantly close my eyes. i feel like i'm not myself. i don't enjoy anything at all. every thing is stressful and i can't relax to save my life.

if anyone has any advice, i would absolutely appreciate that and open my mind to it. please, i really need help. i am miserable.

I'm not in good shape either. But it's poly drug use for me.

Benzo, gabapentin, Lyrica, clonidine are the gold standards for opiod wd comfort. Agmatine and NAC are valuable supplements to try. But not as effective as the pharmaceuticals I mentioned.

i understand where you’re at, i’ve been on a mix of 7-oh and mgm-15 daily for a short while now, tapering myself down before it’s scheduled at the end of the month. ive used it on and off for a few months for chronic pain that i’ve been struggling to find working treatment for. i’ve had other periods of use and withdrawals from it and other opioids too. i’m not sure what you’ve got access to, but i’m rx’d baclofen and lyrica. taking some extras of those have been helpful. clonidine or similar meds has always been helpful for the sweating, palpitations, and other adrenergic symptoms of withdrawal. imodium and pepto for the GI issues, zofran is even better if you can get it, got some rx’d a bit ago for a bitch of a case of pneumonia.

if you can’t get any of the RX meds i mentioned, if you drink, good ole fashioned alcohol has helped me with opioid withdrawal. not a lot, just one or two drinks. when i cold turkey’d a 300mg/day habit of 7oh, i just bought 2 of those 8% tall boys ya see in gas stations. i’d just take a couple sips at any point thru the day for like 3 days. it didn’t take a lot to help my comfort and anxiety. obviously ideally ya dont just replace it with a drinking habit, but sipping a bits here and there was helpful. tho im not sure whether alcohol can safely be combined with your cancer meds and such. nyquil is a classic option too, DXM has been shown to help mitigate withdrawal symptoms at slightly higher than medical doses, like 60-75mg. tho if you take that much, try to get something without acetaminophen in it. nyquil and the like aren’t super high in acetaminophen but depending on frequency and dose, ya wouldn’t wanna take too much of it, tho it may help a bit with some of the rebound

if youre at day 5 or 6 now you should be getting thru the worst of it all, mgm withdrawal does seem to last a little longer than 7oh withdrawal but you should be starting to get on the upswing soon. i’ve got some chronic health issues tho so i know that withdrawal really takes it out of you more when you’ve got other issues, and i imagine cancer is no different (and probably worse, realistically.) obviously take these recommendations with a grain of salt and, if you do take any, ensure there’s no risk with any of your current meds or cancer treatment. i’m really sorry that you’re going thru this. like i said, i don’t have cancer but i have neurological issues (among other health problems) and im gonna miss having such an accessible and effective treatment for my pain. i dont agree with the decision to schedule it (tho i do feel like it needs to be a little more regulated.) i hope this helps, like i said i dont know what meds you’re on and how the things i mentioned interact so be careful with any of these suggestions. im not a doctor, just a stranger on the internet with some experience. stay safe and stay up, friend. i know it feels like absolute buns, but you should be getting thru the worse of it and seeing an upswing soon :)

Holy shit. I am sorry. I say that as someone who has been through both heavy chemo treatment and severe 7oh/pseudoindoxyl addiction. But not at the same time...

You need to stop the kratom alkaloids. I know you already know this. Look there is a way out. A combination of suboxone and adderall made it painless for me. Without adderall it sucks but its still doable.

The cycle of 7oh/pseudo/mgm addiction and withdrawal is awful.

I'm not sure I understand the question? Are you trying to extract kratom to make your own 7 etc?? I feel thats kind of a bad solution to your problem. As someone who has done both extract/isolate MIT and convert to 7, I am definitely grateful I never developed a serious problem with it, because then I would just make my own and be addicted for life :(
