I'm not knocking him for that, I'm sure it helps. I also suspect it's a performative gesture, and it's just pocket change for him isn't it?He’s the only sitting MP who donates 100% of his salary to good causes around his constituency. Can’t knock him for that, so he’s clearly not in it for the money.
I give £5 a week to a charity which I'm sure is a higher % of wealth than he donates. I don't make a song and dance about it either
