I would guess I've had somewhere like 100g-125g of Soma over the past year, and had fist fulls of the 2-methy, the 2-methy was much better than the soma, more consistent a buzz and you jump straight to the high without having to wait for the Soma to get metabolised.

I'd be taking 2-methy instead of Soma now if the price were better though imho it does need a bit of a kick to get the best out of it, a bottle of wine is perfect

I do know he was making his own anthranilic acid. Also, I don't believe this is the first time it's appeared on DNMs. There was another American vendor making it not too long ago before he also disappeared (maybe the CIA got to him...? xD). His prices were also significantly cheaper. I guess I really missed out... I checked again last night, and he's MIA once again.

As for which one is more clear-headed and which causes more brain fog: from what I remember, methaqualone. I'll be able to tell you more tonight. It was sloppier and felt more like being drunk. It definitely wasn't as lucid as Soma.

Soma seems to work almost too well for me on an empty stomach, even before the meprobamate phase kicks in.

I'll report back tonight. It's currently 9:30am here, and I'll probably take it around 4-5pm.

no point taking it if it doesn't do anything good. I really like it but it's still hit and miss for me, it's amazing when it hits hard, but pointless if it doesn't, very frustrating drug.

While I have taken quite a few barbiturates (even Nembutal), I have never taken methaqualone (obviously not a barb). I have taken hundreds of Somas, though. When I was a kid, I had taken a handful of them and turned to a puddle of jello in my friend's driveway and had to be shoveled into my mother's car. Not my greatest moment. However, my head was totally clear. I still remember that day vividly. I always found carisoprodol TOTALLY clear-headed, and definitely much more so than the various barbs I've tried. I would love to get my hands on a non-barbiturate sedative like methaqualone.
