๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Social ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

Yay or Nay folks?
Personally I am in Love with these things, as a old Texan Rancher said "You could kick a Rattlesnake's teeth all the way back down to his arse with those"
I am sure I could crack a few Ribs with a swift & nasty kick shot out as fast as a Switchblade.

It's a yay from me.

Think you'd need some kinda cool hat too though.

Just my opinion, FWIW, and I agree that the leather looks fantastic, with the different shades. But personally I wouldn't wear them unless I was an actual cowboy in Texas or w/e else they have cowboys and farmers in the USA.

They might also be OK for UK farmers, maybe. But for city wear, I'd have to say Nay. In biker boot style they would look amazing though imo.

Get the fuck outta here David Myatt.

I worked on a farm & for some reason I think the "Billy boys" AKA Hillbilly types are amazing.
What more could you want than to live in a Wooden house, brew 80% ABV Moonshine, grow weed & have huge guns & dangerous dogs?

Best bit is I don't need subtitles to understand this guy, still in my top 3 off SWU of all time.
"Last time you got busted you had a whole field of Marijunana":love::love:

Went to the pharmacy looking halfway respectable in an almost formal jacket.

Two women turn up; one has a few items to collect and looks addicted, the other sits near me. After a while the sitting partner asks what time it is, 'maaannn'.

I give her the time. The woman collecting is really apologetic. They go outside but continue to argue about the interaction. We're all watching this from the pharmacy counter. Eventually it turns out that you shouldn't say that to gangsters. Yeah, gangsters.

I wore this style of Safety boot I imported from Mexico in my last salary gig

great shoes , did like 6000h in them over three years and still have them but they would need a total resoling at this stage

they looked like this

I wore my trousers over them; but they performed extremely well in the tropical heat and scrubbed up well

Not gangster in the slightest.
It turned out that a real gangster lived pretty close to me. One night a few years ago, a rival gang burst into his house, blindfolded him, IIRC, dragged him out of his house, and up a back alley, and beat the shit out of him, and then drove him around, before dumping him somewhere in the middle of Salford. I can still hear the screams from his partner, that must have been when the rival gang burst into their house.

ITV even made a documentary about it, not long afterwards, it was such a nasty event.

So glad that I've never been close to those kind of circles. I mean, in terms of knowing those kind of people, or having to deal with them to score etc.

I don't think you're gangster either @Perkins : Reborn, although the thought did cross my mind after we briefly met years ago, that you might not have looked out of place as an extra on Peaky Blinders or something  . No offense intended, it's just I thought you had a certain kind of street wise look about you. Plus my judgement was probably affected by all the drugs I was taking at the time :\ . Possibly the same for the woman you thought looked like an addict. She's possibly having lots of dealings with those kind of circles, and thinking everyone's a gangster as a result :?. Just a random theory.

I'd be fine wearing the boots you pictured, and those from ZB, if trousers or jeans fitted over them, as the bases of both are fine, and they're probably really durable, solid, waterproof footwear..

I really don't like the wide flare out at the tops though, so obviously you'd need pretty wide fitting trousers to wear over boots like that. I don't have any trousers or jeans that are that wide at the bottoms. They're all kind of straight/tapered/ leg fit.

the flare out isn't really noiicable unless one is wearing skinny jeans or slim fit anything with a regular leg or a boot cut fits right over

I usually wore them in combo at work with Duluth Trading Co double courdroy work trousers with a gooch, so that one could do the splits if one absolutely totally had to do the splits for any reason at all

surely if you're going to buy them you want to tuck skinny jeans into the tops of them?!

own those babies
