They both feel pretty neutral to me. However, like you said, 7OH definitely has an edge when it comes to sedative effects. I’ve actually caught nods on 7OH before. I can still take it and do chores or other stuff, but after a while I definitely just want to sit down and relax.
Kratom felt more stimulating overall, even the reds like you mentioned. I’ve never nodded on kratom, but I did have one of my most pleasurable highs ever from red kratom combined with some hash. Honestly one of the best nights for me. The weird part is I could never recreate that experience, it only happened once.
You might be onto something though, because kratom and its alkaloids seem really complicated. It makes sense that kratom itself feels more stimulating while pure 7OH feels more sedative. The experience also changes depending on the “colors,” probably because of the different alkaloid profiles.
What makes me skeptical about your theory though is that I’ve tried MIT isolate and it barely felt like anything at all. If I felt anything, it was slightly stimulating. When I added MIT to kratom, it actually seemed to make the experience more stimulating. Meanwhile pure 7OH feels much more sedative and opioid like.
Have you tried any of the other alkaloids like pseudonxyl or MGM-15?
Also, how would you compare 7OH to classical opiates? I’d really like to hear your thoughts on it overall, like its benefits and drawbacks. A full review would be really interesting to hear from you.
