apparently a natural inhalation and exhalation with a slight pause is all that is needed to absorb the thc you will get from a pull.
- THC absorption happens rapidly during the inhale and first natural pause.
- Holding smoke longer does not meaningfully increase THC uptake.
- Extra holding mostly increases:
- carbon monoxide exposure
- airway irritation
- dizziness/anxiety
- Most THC that can be absorbed already is within a normal breath cycle.
- Normal inhale + natural exhale = sufficient
- Conscious breath-holding = extra risk, no real payoff
