EADD Benzo Discussion V. Waking up in a Wakefield skip

You must have a hoor of a tolerance!

Any stimulants into that mix?

Sounds like a recipe for a seizure tbh. You know what you're doing though.

man if I take it before balance related activities; each 150 mg capsule feels like 2 beers. Take 4 capsules and I can't ride my bike down the street. Try to save it for times later in the day for that reason as I like to skate or bike and it flat out fucks me up. Just like liquid courage; I am lucky I don't drink what with methadone, clonazepam I can take in the morning for all day pain releif. Then chill in front of the TV after a capsule or three of pregabs. My doctor said it was like alcohol in a pill and I agree completely. All the way to cessasion making you subject to seizures.
Ive been on it for more than a decade; have found that gaba covers the worst of w/d better than a benzo.

Does anyone know if phenibut covers lyrica w/d. I know its also addictive and have it but use it sparingly for fear of adding another substance to my needs list.

Wedinos are currently moving to a new online system, which currently means that there are 0 historic entries available to search.

It does state "Results of recent sample submissions will be available by the end of the week. Please accept our apologies for the delay as we move WEDINOS onto a new online system."

But that's only for recent submissions. It doesn't mention what might happen to any older ones.

Obviously, it would be very bad news if they don't copy over all of the historical submissions and results to their new system. That information was an absolute goldmine.

What a great time to receive a brand of Clonazepam that I've never even heard of before :\ :roll eyes: .

Fortunately I do have a bit of a buffer in my stock atm, so things could have been worse.

A number of Redditors are stating that there is cross tolerance between the 2, so I guess it could do, to some extent or other.

Why would you want to do that though? I don't understand your reasons for wanting to do that at all tbh.

Everything I've read suggests that Phenibut w/d is worse than Lyrica. And as you say you're adding another substance to your needs list, and making things more complicated. You'd have to use phenibut sparingly, like you say, as they probably won't be perfectly interchangeable for each other, so you could end up having to w/d from 2 similar substances.

+1 for this.

I would absolutely advise against using phenibut for pregabalin withdrawal. You'll end up in a worse situation and it's a drug that is poorly understood by healthcare providers if th ley even know of its existence.

I'm told tapering is essential for pregabalin withdrawal. Don't know what else would help tbh. I've read clonidine is useful. I'm no expert tho.

I know tapering is doable with lyrica/pregabs. I also appreciate the advice. You all are trying to advocate harm reduction, thank you for that.
I don't take the phenibut, but I have it in case it may help bridge a short term gap situation. It is not something I wish to become addicted to nor do I use it willy nilly.

I went into Lyrica w/d last October, due to poor communication on my part with my doctor; and it truly sucked with akathesia/restless legs being the main problem. I was asking, if and only if, I happened to run out of Lyrica, if phenibut would lessen my woes.

It will probably do something. But at what price?

Phenibut is very much a use once, enjoy then don't touch it for a while. Tolerance grows quick, benefits drop off. Even to bridge a short term gap I think you're taking a risk and I'd advise against it. Be better buying some extra pregabs online and keep them for emergencies. Fucking nightmare running out of meds when it's out with your control. You have my sympathy.

I don't think phenibut is a viable solution. Pregabalin is easy enough to find and rarely faked. Good practice to get them tested though.

Out of interest, could you share your experience of withdrawal? Like what dose you were on, how long it took to start and when did it subside?

Insomnia, restless legs, feeling weak. It started after 2 days and felt like benzo w/d.
Ive had two times experienced this withdrawal since 2020; so I think I manage my rx's pretty well
Felt exactly like benzo withdrawal to me, but taking extra benzos didnt help very much and then I was short on benzos.
i willl tread cautiously with this phenibut. My meds truly help me function even if it means I am a junkie with an addicts mind\
Dont drink, or use nicotine, or pot. For thirty years now except only six months off the weed
Im on 20mg methadone, 300mg pregabalin, 1.5 mg clonazepam. Usually trying to taper all of them for fear of running out.

Nah me neither these days. Much prefer to chill.

I used to enjoy them when I was much younger. Sometimes I just need a wee something to perk me up for the sheer sake of getting something done. Methylphenidate is probably the best one for me now but I've trouble sourcing it for now.
when i was young i was seeking for anything that will keep me awake as long as its possible, now when im older, i want only stuff that will help me sleep more hehe

Thanks for sharing.

Phenibut can be a good substance but I don't think it's a good fit for what you want it for.

Yeah seems like you know what you're doing. As I said very frustrating to run out of meds when you haven't been over using them.
