EADD Benzo Discussion V. Waking up in a Wakefield skip

Damn, my first ever go on 1mg of alprazolam last night, well that stuff has a kick to it.
Mixed it with a big spliff of old skool black which is like playdough & tastes like it's been rolled by some old Woman in the Afghan hills.
Benzo drugs have never been my thing tbh but I have limited experience, I am a HUGE FAN of Xanax though.

Aye, it's decent. Probably my favourite short acting benzo. I find it kinda moreish though, that's the problem. Not in the take loads of pills in a night kinda way. More the take it every evening if I've got it kind of way.

Yeah I can understand, I would be eating 1.5mg tonight if I had any left.

For me each time I have taken Diazepam (10mg blue) I black out, end up in a fight I don't remember, wake up in the garden half naked etc.
Xanax is what I have been after in Benzo things, I sat in the chair feeling like I was melting, my legs were "loose" a bit like Pregabalin but without the fear you would fall over & break your neck. I knew if I had to get out the flat due a fire etc I could do it, on pregabalin it would take me 10 mins to crawl down the steps to the door.

I didn't feel like shit when I woke up today which helps too, most Benzo's I've had before I feel "rough" the next day but with Xanax I felt fine when I finally woke up.
I understand how these damn things could be an issue but my access to them is very limited so I have no issue of getting hooked on them, I know how you feel on them so I dread to think what the WD's would be like off them if you got a habit.

do you take pregab orally or snort it? I find snorting it is a bit more stimulating, never had major issues with motor control when I take it, just a little but mainly when I'm taking other things with it and more so when swallowed

Not for me, 1mg kicked in around 30 mins, I didn't get into bed till 3am.
I was wide awake & kept going on a "nod" a bit like Heroin but without that "soaking in the hot bath" feeling.

God no I don't snort it, I snort Zopiclone but never decided to snort Pregabalin, I may try it now & report back.

TBH I like the long effect on them, more "bang for my buck" & I am a huge fan of the "Sludgy" effect I get from them.
Pregabalin & Heroin is a very good way to waste away a day, I am off right now to do 600mg & roll a huge Black Hash spliff, that will do me for the evening.

I find even if I take them at 7am that I'm still going by bed time, think it's a bit of a waste to be asleep on them, if I snort them I just start coming down by late evening = max enjoyment

Anyone ever heard or tried Mogadon AKA nitrazepam?

I've been hunting for these since early 1990's & I just learned their other name last night & may have access to them.
All my favourite Sludge Metal bands have spoken about this damn Benzo, songs have been made in it's Honour, it's gotta be something worth while.

Lolz at " Increased risk of falls and hip fractures, particularly in elderly patients." taken from Google, sounds like you get really fucked up on these things if they are famous for making old people fall over.

Nitrazepam is nice but too long acting and heavy for me. Leaves me feeling too sluggish and mongadonned.

How would you describe the feeling of them from start to finish?
Only known these fuckers as Mogadon for decades & I was sure they were banned, I only found out last night it's other name is Nitrazepam!!!!!!

Guess they are your DOC like Opiates are mine.
I get so Jealous of people who can get high on Codeine & be baked off a good dose of DHC, I can take 240mg & still have a snotty nose in a few hours & start to sneeze etc.

I've never been into Benzo's as I never really fancied them, I had access to great Smack for decades & RC's right out of TIHKAL / PIHKAL so what the hell do I want Benzo's for?

As I got older I've began to understand & grow to the ways of "NHS" Downers, I still stand Loud & Proud & will tell anyone Pregabalin is amazing & if you got no tolerance 600mg in one go you'll KNOW about it.

As I get closer to 50 than 40 my tastes are changing, I have a whole world opening upto me atm of a whole Sweetie shop I've never given a fuck about before.

You've made it this far without trying nitrazepam?

It's great for sleep or for feeling 'fucked' with alcohol and weed, but like any benzo (and more so than many) it'll scrub your memory and make you feel dozy well into the next day.

Occasional use is fine, but all benzos take much more than they give.

Anything that seems famous for making old people fall over & break bones sure sounds like it has some kick to me.
Everything I assumed is being proven correct, these things are famous as I said, Sludge Metal bands have named tracks after this Benzo, Mogadon was the actual name of a Sludge Metal band who sadly split up decades ago but I'm sure some other people are finding them, will be "impressed" with their power & make songs about them.

I only had Xanax on Friday for the first time ever which was very nice, several people say they just black out on it or it puts them to sleep but it didn't do that for me, I was very "moshed" shall we say but not in a "Dirty" way like you get from eating Pregabalin. Usual 10mg blues make me just fall to sleep or black out, on Xanax I didn't & I'd eat a good 2.5mg if I had access to them for my 2nd time.

Will Self it seems was a huge fan of Mogadon, it's strange what you can find you posted ages ago & now I have 100% clear access to these things it's time to see WTF all the fuss is.

How much would you eat with zero tolerance to get "nice & moshed" I'm on about walking like I am in that Mr Soft Mint Advert or Wobbly Stan The Benzo man cartoon level.

The 10mg pills feel physically heavy duty and hard hitting. I like the heavy buzz, but I've always been careful not to use Nitraz too often. I read somewhere that it's one of the more physically addictive benzos, but that got disputed or questioned when I last posted about that.

With zero tolerance one x 10mg pill should be just about perfect. I have a general benzo tolerance and the 10mg Nitrazepams always hit me nicely, especially when it's been a long time since the previous dose. Any more than that, and you'd be more liable to just fall asleep, imo / ime.

Although of course that also depends on the time of day you take it, and whether you're tired or not, whether you're going to be active or watching TV from the comfort of your sofa, etc etc.

i find it boring, just puts me to sleep, but I struggled to connect with most benzos for 1 reason or another, it's readily available on the DNMs

Don't know if you're reading this, but you can make some shocking decisions on heavy benzos, and it seems really sensible at the time. I recently went and cold scored, for example.

I just remember a pretty constant feeling of being monged that lasted hours. Not sleepy, as such, but - well - mongadonned.

Definitely not unpleasant, but fairly impracticable without tolerance imo.
