Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 12

One more thing I hate about this invega is that this made my life feel so miserable.

I was always a happy guy no matter what and now even after one and a half year later, still I feel kinda depressed without a reason.

Usually I get to my normal self especially if I write it down on my diary something like that, but after invega it is totally different. I feel always down mood. sighing every minute for no reason. I really don't understand what is going on, I try to find the reason for depression but there is no reason to be depressed now.

I think this is caused by hormone imbalance that was caused by invega.

This is so horrible because no one knows this is from that drug but me.

My family try to find the reason from else where.

Achieving things, earning money, meeting new girlfriend even doesn't make me feel better.

it is so weird.
I’m the same as you. I am very depressed at home or when I’m out

I can help my anhedonia with weed I found . I don’t get crazy high but I do get somewhat stoned effect . Only problem is I take epival and the combination of weed and epival can cause liver damage and I don’t want to risk it .

Hello everyone! How are you doing?

I'm at 4 months since the injection and not really a lot of improvement. Still can't feel. Now I'm in bed like a lot of the time.

A doctor wants to put me on prozac and vraylar but I'm afraid of the akathisia so I didn't take them :(

I had a similar feeling of not being able to feel much at first, and it’s really hard to explain to others. You’re not alone in that. It makes sense that you’re cautious about trying new medications after this experience. Maybe it’s something to think through slowly and only do what feels safe for you

It’s been 5.5 months since my last injection, and my emotions are gradually returning. It’s mostly anxiety, but recently I’ve even been able to get angry. A lot of things are far from ideal — my libido is still very low, I barely feel music, there’s almost no imagination, and motivation is still quite weak

They say that many people feel better 6–8 months after their last injection. I'm really looking forward to seeing the changes

Your only way to heal it’s to quit every medication. The more medication you take the less your brain can recover, it’s your choice.

Take them only if it’s necessary, also the sympthoms caused by these injections mimics almost perfectly the depression and the negative sympthoms of schizo/psychosis but it’s not a mental illness, it’s just the effect of the drug on the brain.

Be careful about being misdiagnosed and overmedicated again, they don’t know what these injection cause to the brain, but you know. Trust yourself, not them.

Avoid anti-depressants if you can

Fuck man I think these docs fucked me when they asked about my drug usage . My psychosis was sleep induced which takes much quicker to heal than drug induced. These docs don’t even know just reading notes and prescribing meds . I probably only needed it for 3 months max but 6 months is overkill

There are rumors antipsychotics are not as strong as they once were.

My experience is there weaker.

Anyone else notice this?

I definetely have NIDS because it’s what happen after a the exposure to the toxin, the brain’s receptors change in expression (Numbers and sensitivity), every receptors targeted by this toxin change his expression, and because of that the NIDS occour until every receptors go to his former setup.

But since changing the receptors expression in someone’s brain is something EXTREMELY unnatural, the brain it’s not programmed to return to his former self because nothing in the nature will change the expression of receptors inside the brain and the brain cannot re write itself because this is far Beyond the biology.

Recreational drug use also changes receptors in the brain, and drug addicts mostly go back to normal, other than perhaps an altered reward system and wiring to always want the drug on some level. The brain is re-adjusting receptors all the fucking time. Even if you don't go back to normal on the microscopic, biological level you won't be able to tell if something was off. People recover from taking these drugs.

Yeah drugs are bad for you. Its dumbs you down. I know some people that are very smart that did had drugs like esctasy and cocaine, they thought there brain is so strong it wont dumb them down. Anyways the drug eventually dumbed them down and turned them to a sex addict.

Have you thought about ketamine infusion therapy? I dont know the risks involved but i think if not too risky is worth a shot.

I tried mirtazapine for sleep 2 days and I can’t cry anymore, now I’m back to square one with literally flat emotion, still can’t watch tv or do anything, when I run I feel better for like 10 minutes and then crash and being worse, insomnia, pssd, blank mind, and still can’t laugh or enjoy anything getting worse everyday , 7 months passed,I hope I don’t lose my patience because I’m really close to being done with everything, I’m a burden to my family , they tried to give me best life ever, and I made it to worst life possible , and can’t recover from what I’ve done
God this life is not fair

But why i’am not recovered after 21 months?

In these 21 months the only aid i got is psych drugs, they won’t give me anything else beside psych drugs like if i have a mental illness because they don’t belive i have sympthoms from the injections 21 months after the last shot

Most psychiatrists are focused on pharmacology, and some don’t even fully understand how antipsychotics work. When I spoke to my previous doctor and explained that low dopamine can lead to increased acetylcholine activity, he looked at me strangely, even though this information is publicly available. Excess acetylcholine in the brain is often associated with symptoms of depression and anxiety. There appears to be a correlation. Sometimes, after antipsychotics, doctors prescribe centrally acting anticholinergic drugs to help balance acetylcholine levels. These drugs (like biperiden or trihexyphenidyl) are often used to reduce muscle rigidity and other physical symptoms that can persist after antipsychotics

What you really need is a doctor who won’t just reach for another antipsychotic — someone who will listen to you and consider prescribing a corrective medication (like trihexyphenidyl or biperiden) or another form of supportive therapy instead
