Without wanting to raise more bad memories, it wasn't your personal responsibility, every member of staff was debating banning her for ages. Hard situation.

That said she very nearly gave me a breakdown and she'd taken over EADD so I bolted. Figured it's safe to come back now.

Are you the snolly who was crazy over different types of tea, had a whole set of them, kettle included in your room if memory serves. Or am I thinking of another user?

There's not much drama going on these days, in fact, it's all pretty boring :LOL:

I keep getting the odd message from Evey saying that it was not her.

I have absolutely no idea if this is true, but just wanted to put it out there.

Yeah, it obviously was her imho.

If you spend much time reading other people's posts on forums like this, you soon begin to recognise their unique styles.

Some stand out much more than others, for various reasons. I can spot some people from their posts when they've changed their username, sometimes on their very first post, and after that it doesn't take me long to be sure.

The style, and historical info provided on the BelleRed account all matched. (Including her sudden fanaticism for Jeremy Corbyn back in the day, which is presumably what the 'Red' refers to.)

I also got a message from her, not on this platform, saying it wasn't her. But someone pretending to be her.

The chances of that being true, and of them doing such a brilliant impersonation, must be very slim indeed.

It also shows that she was following happenings on here at the time. If she'd have admitted it, I may not have 'outed her', although as I say, I really didn't do that with any intention of getting her re-banned.

She was not particularly bothering me.

I can only hope her poor child ended up in care. Absolute oxygen thief that she is. (Evey that is. Not the child, in case that wasn’t clear)

FWIW, I fully accept being… overly generous to Evey to the detriment of the wider forum. It’s definitely not all about me, but I certainly didn’t help EADD’s fall from relevance :\

Ah good, so maybe I don't need to blame myself too much for getting her re-banned. Her time may have been up anyway, and maybe my post had nothing to do with it.

(I'm no deliberate 'snitch' in most scenarios, including this.)

I knew it wasn't just me who knew who she was.

It was very obvious that most people did.
 
Oh god yeah, dont lose any zzzs over her. She turned every thread into a war zone. Usually with other dickhead members, but all the derailments and massive meltdowns, she needed to get psychological help.
She we were during before the ban and she seemed nice enough when lucid, but she started nomming rc benzos, and I think BL was only making her worse.

Thank you! It's nice to be back. Finally got medicated for ADHD and dropped in to Other Drugs to get the skinny on my meds then saw this thread and was glad to see yourself and some other old faces ❤️ Then forgot til now

Life is treating me well ta and it's nice, hope it's treating you and yours similarly. Gonna go catch up now I guess!
 
Just being devil's advocate here...I don't tend to get drawn in to petty squabbles, bullshittery and madness as it just ends up being an echo chamber of futile rhetoric and more than occasional hubris. That said evey obviously had issues that to my mind weren't, in the main malicious, more symptoms of poor mental health exacerbated no doubt by chemical imput. Sticks and stones etc etc.
 
When they come back pretending to be someone else, and you're sat trying to figure out "they both use full stops in a peculiar way...hmmm.. and look they both spell that word the same way!!!"

Thats the shortcut to sending yourself round the bend right there.

Saw the wall at earls Court in 1980 I think best concert for showmanship. Built a huge wall in the first act that exploded revealing the band again with massive screens showing some of the animation from the movie..funking cream.love the Floyd.
