I've always thought that 'Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic' would make a fantastic band name

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic is a 2019 collection of commissioned poems by UK Poet Laureate Simon Armitage. The title refers to an unstaffed, automated lightship stationed off the coast of France, often mentioned in the BBC Shipping Forecast, suggesting themes of utility, surveillance, and coastal life.

I actually owned a copy of the album back in the 60's
Third World label release!!!!!!
They are so rare these days, even back when it was released loads were pressed & meant to be given to Radio stations but the car their dad drove around in was broken into & someone stole every copy, that would be worth several hundred pounds / dollars today at the very least, if you put it on Ebay I'd NOT be shocked if it went into the £1000 / $1500 range at the very least.

I got my copy from the librarian of one of Chicago's radio station, WCFL. He was a friend and they had no intention of ever playing it on air more than once.

BTW, Frank Zappa ranked it as one of his top favorite Albums.

PS you can buy physical copies of this on the internet currently for less than $30.00 US (brand new) if you search...

That's one thing about American Culture I love so much, you have Public Broadcasting & strange Radio stations too.
The UK has never had some random weird people being able to broadcast onto the TV with anything their stoned brain cooks up & back before most things went digital we used to have "Pirate Radio" which was usually Rave music such as Jungle & Hardcore, people would stick a broadcasting aerial upon the top of Social Housing block of flats which is usually several hundred feet in the air & then use a flat to broadcast to the local area.

For several years when the Internet was kind of new I used to spend ages hunting down the most unique Public Broadcast stuff from The USA.

The UK used to have a guy called John Peel who used to have a show on BBC Radio 1 5 days a week from 10pm till 12am (Midnight) where he would play all kinds of stuff, one moment it would be the most Dubbed out Reggae you ever heard then the next tune would be some Aphex Twin followed by some kinda Townes Van Zandt-esque outlaw Country, he was one who stood alone though sadly in the UK radio world.

I wish I could remember the name of the station, it was years ago & they have closed down now, it was some obscure radio station that would broadcast out of NOLA (New Orleans) & they would host their stuff on a very small website, they would play everything possible, one moment it would be Tuvan throat singing then the next record would be some brutal breakcore.
I found the website & station several pages deep on a Google search for "Obscure music stations" & I became obsessed with the station. They just vanished one day alongside the website that hosted all their stuff sadly.

It was from that NOLA station I first heard this

Kurupt FM FTW

For years people called me "Super Hans" from Peep Show & when People Just Do Nothing I was dubbed "Steve"
I wish I could have come back with some savage reply but sadly I was bang to rights on that, if the TV has ever had a person that fits the way I am it's those two shows, I didn't mind being called Super Hans tbh as I can relate to the guy way too much.

"A relaxing smoke of crack". An oxymoron if ever I heard one :ROFLMAO:
The local Methadone Clinic had a poster up saying they have found some Crack around here that's been laced with xylazine, tbh I think that maybe the perfect drug combo, you go up on the Crack & then the anesthesia effect kicks in.

We may be living in the day & age of people being able to say in all honesty they are having a relaxing smoke of crack.
