🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What's the last film you saw? v. Why doesn’t Peter Jackson wear shoes?

Saw Tron a couple nights ago, Jared Leto on production team and he's also one of my favorite actors, I liked it. The concept and acting mostly. And I'm sure anyone who likes fantasy type action would like at least some of it too

i watched sinners.

it was a little slow to start but, once it got going, it was great.

I watched 12 Monkeys last week.

It reminds me a lot of work somehow. Really made me laugh a lot. And just generally melancholy afterwards.

The film or the show? I think there was a show. Haven't watched it. But the film is one of the greats.

The film. I do believe there’s a recent show, but I haven’t bothered watching it.

Brad Pitt really stole the show in the film. He captured insanity well I feel. Defining real insanity is extremely difficult but sometimes when you see it you just know.

Watched Children of Men followed by Out of Africa today while tripping on Psilacetin and drinking lots of vodka.

Children of Men hit especially hard.

Wife and I watched Revenge of the Sith after she got off work. Probably my favorite Star Wars film.

Predator Badlands was terrific.Big fan of the franchise but this one was so different. Its a film that you don't need to have had watched any of the previous movies. On Hulu there are a bunch of short cuts explaining all the creatures and the death planet which made the movie very interesting.

I actually saw that recently too, on Hulu, hadn't seen any of the others. Wasn't that monkey cute. And he showed admiration for the Predator by imitating him and Predator got mad because monkey spat on him but it was a sign of affection 😂

When the baby Kalisk spit on Dek? That was a gesture of acceptance, and when mother smelt her baby on Dek,it saved his life

Pusher (1996)

Definitely see where the neon phase of NWR works came from. Enjoyable but bleak film. In fact it was quite depressing. But worth the watch.

7/10

I recently watch Jules....It was free on YouTube. The movie really wasn't half bad. I was actually surprised. Not to mention that little alien had nice thick thighs....baby got back if you know what i mean.

Midsommar (2019)

My wife loves this film, for some reason. Befitting to watch it on Easter lol. Have the director’s cut on 4K UHD and it was fantastic. No special features though; A24 has horrible special edition disc releases.

Oh yeah also watched:

Mulholland Drive (2001)

Gotta love a classic David Lynch film. Seems to be fit into the Twin Peaks universe. Or vice versa. Good stuff.

Phantom Thread (2017)

Wife’s first time seeing it. At the end I was tearing up and I asked her what she thought. She said, “It was okay. Is she poisoning him because he poisoned her?” I said “I thought the end implied he didn’t survive the last attempt.”

Made me laugh a bit. Idk. I think it’s a good allegory for marriage.

Now we’re about to watch The Terminator (1984) and she ain’t seen it before. Until recently I thought Skynet was far fetched. Not so, these days.
