What is the best way to cover up the smell of smoking heroin?

And there Jnowhere is right on que to antagonize everyone. Has nothing better to do. Bluelight was so much better when you were banned. Miserable lonely man has to come on here and put other people down to fill his time and make him feel better @Zopiclone bandit

I read a lot. And watch documentaries and sometimes visit here.

Lonely, nope. I am somewhat antisocial but have some friends but I tend to keep to myself IRL.

I actually have a longtime girlfriend and friends and family. You have absolutely nothing that I envy. People that act like you are always miserable people.

They make these fans that go into windows. Like wall unit air conditioners. They have plastic shields in them that let you reverse the air flow so you can pull air into the room or pull air back out. When I lived with my parents as a teenager my Dad bought me one because he knew we were smoking cigarettes and pot in my room. It was very effective for sucking the air out of the room and kept the smell down really well. The small amount that was left over was easy enough to cover up with air freshener and the other usual methods.

If you smoked right in front of the fan the smell never got into the room at all. The suction it produced was surprisingly powerful even if you didn't seal the gaps between the fan and the window that well.

The only problem with it was that instead of everyone in the house being able to smell what you were smoking now everyone in the neighborhood can.

Ran a system like that when we had our growroom, complete with a vent my pops built to the outside. The neighbor on that side of our house got raided before we did ...

I remember people saying they could smell fresh pot coming down the street -- the house.....still smelt like pot tbh.

Had ceiling blowers with switches vented into an empty room behind a false wall and than scrubbed (as much as one can) and sent outside -- I don't think you can beat the smell of pot smoke if you are a chronic smoker/growing fresh pot -- H on the other hand this shoulda whirled right out --- especially if you took some intent to blow into the vent. (obviously I suggest a simpler set up -- but I think that could work!)

This place is not supposed to be about enabling heroin users to help them get a roommate who will be stuck with a heroin addict as a roommate.

I was thinking of the other person and not his own selfish wishes; as in fooling an innocent person. If he is worried about himself only, because of his own decietful action; that is disgusting.

I have my own house, so this doesn't apply to me. However, it is extremely selfish of him to drag others into a living situation with a heroin user for many reasons.

But a younger me would have come across as polite, funny, chill and a nice guy.
Until provoked: By this sort of behavior, (aka, being tricked into getting stuck with a heroin using roommate. His use, and potentially bringing trouble to my life by his own bad choices, would turn dangerous for both of us.

What if he had a drug debt and some dealer wanted payment? There is no question that if I got dragged into this, there would real trouble. Castle Doctrine, unless it is a state where you have to basically let people rob you. Ah no!⁶

Black tar is imported to America.( I read it is not easy to get in Europe or even exists; unless black market orders for that shit happen by mail and Europeans liking it? Never read or heard that).

I read on here that it is basically non existent in Europe.

To the OP, just start injecting. Hardly any smell (except for the cooking phase).

Go outside was prolly a good suggestion.

I gotta agree with jnowhere (It happens) that you should not be burdening anyone with heroin in there home without them being aware. Ideally you should probably tell them you use but I can also see how that could be none of there damn business --- more depending on you and how you handle yourself.

Oh you definitely can.
And the how, an active carbon filter, is used to remove the smell of flowering cannabis from air.

@PenguinWithNapalm You need to get an active carbon filter, a suitable centrifugal extractor fan, some duct tape and optionally some flexible ducting.
Set it up so that the fan draws air through the filter and not the other way around.
Smoke next to the filter, and blow the smoke in it.
There will be zero heroin smell in your room.

The filter works better if it's close to one or more surfaces ie if it's on top of a desk and close to a wall it will draw air and smoke from further away than if it was say, suspended in mid air.
That being said, leaving it on for 10 to 15 minutes and it will remove the smell of a cigarette or a joint smoked inside a closed room away from the filter.
Smoking next to the filter there will be no smell even while you smoke.

No landlord is going to tolerate heroin smoking inside his property.
You are suggesting OP becomes homeless and probably has the police called for drug use.
So I would argue that helping OP hide his heroin smoking is indeed harm reduction.
 
I am more concerned about the innocent, not the selfish. I am not concerned with trouble his illegal and dangerous deceiving are concerned.

But I expect fellow hard drug users to only look at and care about and sympathize with other users.

I care about the harm reduction to the innocent more

It is enabling illegal activity and bringing others into it. So my advice to stop smoking heroin in the best interest and harm reduction to the innocent.

They could end up homeless also and what if he brings trouble and the OP gets caught up in something they didn't bargain for.

You have no idea how ruthless some dealers can be and the problems this could bring the OP. Including hassels from the cops because of this persons use.
