SR-1718 some basic questions

So I have seen enough success stories now to put some weight in this chemical being able to help me come off the last mg of bupe that I am on...

Questions -- Legality in the US? Any plan to bring it to market ever? (Or a cure not profitable like that)

What would the average dose be for someone on 1mg bupe and how long would I want to wait before dosing it? Srry I will check some FAQ's -- I dont know much about it, was waiting for a decision on whether it works (and it seems to)

It is better to reduce the buprenorphine now by 0.2 or less increments than faffing around with research chemicals you're unfamiliar with. Cant you try that?

Sorry, I don't know much about this drug, but as another partial agonist like buprenorphine, isn't it similar?

How are you using buprenorphine?

Hmm ok, upon reading it does sound interesting, with reports of no withdrawal symptoms after using for a couple of weeks.

Thread 'SR-17018 made getting clean seriously easy'

Finally was able to get a hold of some SR-17018 and it made coming off of 50mg+ Dilaudid/day surprisingly easy. Admittedly I did take a bit of pregabalin the first couple nights to help sleep, but it probably really wasn't needed and was more so my having anxiety that I might not sleep that led me to take it.

I used 75 mg doses of SR-17018 3x per day for 10 days, then begin to taper down the doses by 10 mg less each day doing 65, 55, 45, 35, 25, 15, 5, then stopped. Stopped taking any opiates at all and I feel completely fine which is amazing!

It's basically like taking Buperenorphine...

me? 1 - 2 mg a day ... closer to 1 certainly. Can't seem to get any lower than that without feeling a bit sick 24 hours later -- so I imagine 72 hours when its at its peak I would not be happy at all.

absolutely taper to the smallest amount of bupe you can get to before switching. It has been too long I have been on bupe now -- tapered from 4-8 mg to 1 over a few years.
( I dont like discomfort muuch, I came off a triple digit Clam habit without losing a night of sleep - took QUITE awhile)

I was a bit skeptical of this substance when I read about it first idk about a yr ago (4dqsar may have a better timeline memory) but after reading many success stories from ppl coming off habits larger than mine --- noone has died -- none of the super brain chemists have warned about toxic metabolites.....

SR-17018 can begin to build tolerance after 5-6 weeks which will result in its own withdrawals but you don't need to take to anywhere near that long

Dosage ranges tremendously for sr-17018, as well as scheduling. Personally I’ve used 100-150mg 2-3 times a day after a 2-3 week stint on 7-oh. Most people seem to take around 50-150mg 3x daily, with 150 being the ceiling and having no further benefit. Honestly it was pretty much a dud in my case and I just had to push through until I could get on subs. But with 1mg of bupe you could definitely use it and have essentially no withdrawal at all. You can start SR-17018 whenever you want, it has no precipitated withdrawals, so if you wanted you could even use it while tapering to 0.5mg first. Assuming it’s sublingual, the withdrawal really shouldn’t be awful. If you’re looking for something more economically efficient and easier to get, I’d just take gabapentin and maybe some clonidine for a week or two while you’re dealing with acutes.
