Hey Notsmokeymcpot, thanks for the quality responses!
They were the safest pills to shoot of any pill I have ever heard of ..... What binder in what brand was harmful?
I have no idea. Honestly speaking, I just believed that any binders and fillers in tablets were bad news and to be avoided. I don't actually know which specific tablets are more harmful. That's an interesting point and it'd be good to learn more about the specifics.
Darn Australia is a tough walnut to break for drug smugglers -- if they hittin you guy's h at the prices it runs .. bad news for everyone.
Australia is indeed a unique environment - we pay out the arse for drugs here. Like insanely high prices.
I would honestly start forming a plan RIGHT NOW if I were you, IME once they start cutting something it never goes back and only gets worse.
This is exactly what I'm doing, my friend! (Forming a plan, I mean.) What worries me is that nitazenes are showing up quite a bit in Australia, and those are far less understood than fent but can be equal in strength (or higher, but it really depends on which nitazene and which fentanyl we're talking about). The gear I was using for a few months was definitely H but it was laced with something very strong. Whatever it was, Suboxone did not do much to stem the WDs and in fact seemed to throw me into precipitated WDs despite me having waited more than long enough (and being very sick).
The 48 hours thing... well it was more like 36 hours, but it was still a nightmare. I took my normal amount of subs but didn't feel better, and in fact started feeling a bit worse. That had not happened before, and I didn't think it was precip from H because I've done this so many times and know the timings and doses that work for me. So I took a larger dose of subs, and all hell broke loose. I was struck down; when it hit I staggered to the bed, lay down and didn't get up for 36 hours (except for a few crawling to the toilet to purge trips). For those hours I was awake and delirious and almost tripping, like it was a different dimension, a liminal space - I was dissociated, sweating, freezing cold (even though I was in heavy clothing and under my blanket and the temp was 32 degrees Celsius LOL), and in a special kind of pain.
I found a different source after that experience, but I think you are correct that once the box has been opened it will not be closed again. Nitazenes are frightening substances and are likely to just keep turning up from now on because, like fent, they are cheap and ultra potent.
You know the worst thing? I live in Melbourne where a free substance testing service has been set up (by Tronica, the Bluelight Manager, and her colleagues, no less) and I never used it. Fuck! All I needed to do was take in a small amount (like 10-20mg) and have it tested for free, no need to give personal info out. I so regret not keeping just a tiny bit and having it tested.
But I guess that's kind of the thing about being a "full-timer" with opiates (i.e. chemically dependent) - even 10mg is precious.
