I've heard in passing about people plugging Lope in an attempt to bypass first pass metabolism and this vastly the bioavailability, but I have no idea if it was successful and there is literally nothing online even mentioning rectal lope [that I could find, at least]. Does anybody have any experience with - or even just thoughts/theories - this?

dont tell people to do stupid shiet when u dont have any idea what ur talking about.....
dont double post! haha i am kidding i double post on accident all the time

It sounds like a bad idea by common sense but I have never used lope for anything beyond stopping the stomach problems of w/d

It does sound like a bad idea, but if it works, surely better as you can take a lower dose so less risk of cardiotoxic side-effects?
I haven't tried it, just took 120mg orally with some 0meprazole last night.

Metabolism isn’t the issue with loperamide. It is transported out of the brain by a transporter called the p-glycoprotein pump, and overwhelming that is what causes the high (and all of the associated dangers/harms).

It’s actually got pretty great oral bioavailability other than staying out of the brain.

The logic is sound -- maybe it was more of a bad joke of putting something to constipate you in your arse seems counerintuitive. (immature post srry)

but skorpio seems to have a better point

Isn't the issue with Lope that it doesnt cross the blood brain barrier, unless you start messing around with pepper and quinine and things like that?

Tbh it all sounds pretty desperate, and about as unglamarous as you could get, abusing a diarrhea medication to try and get high.

Maybe if you were in prison, it would be understandable.

But there's that, and then the apparent cardio-toxicity, not to mention what it will be doing to your digestion. I felt terrible after once taking 3 x 2mg too quickly, when I had a badly upset stomach, and the 3 Lopes gave me a pretty severe stomach ache that lasted for hours. And turned the inside of my intestines to concrete. I cannot imagine taking 60 of the things! Well, I can, but I can only imagine the results being horrific tbh.

Can you really not get any better drugs than that? I don't see any appeal at all, frankly.

Is it really worth all the physical pain and discomfort, and risks to health, for a high that's probably never going to work, and would never be anything amazing anyway, even if it ever did "work."

It has an oral bioavailability of less than 1%.
Both things are issues.

Damn, I was super wrong on that - 1% looks optimistic. Odd for a phenylpiperidine opioid, but that’s the data.

I still stand by the conclusion that rectal use isn’t going to alter the ratio of systemic vs cns effects, which is where the cardiac issues become problematic.
