hi. in high school i found erowid.org
today i decided to see what was up and now there is a forum...
i signed up right away. two of my favorite things,..message boards and proper education and support with use of drugs.

my mom was an IV user and she died when i was 9 in 93 due to complications with her heart transplant
she wasnt even 30 yet....my grandmother raised me and was a nurse,
little old me, has always researching this topic and i also went to pharmacy school as the back up option for my career but i went with stay at home mom and artist :)

i live in philly. raised 3 healthy boys, recently divorced and starting my life over at like 41 now...yay!

i look forward to being an active member on here. I really love message boards....also music, sewing costumes, and clowns.......
....off to make some graphics for my signature if I can still do that.
gonna check out the spirituality tab...I also want to read about the research and status they have made with clinical trials...if that is even a thing....

oh my favorite drug is all of them in which i utilize for their medicinal properties. I am not there is not one I haven't tried or experimented with. at my age and in the moderation that I use them I still know that there is harmful effects on the body. like do ALL opiates fuck with your bone density? for example..

Me either RE bone density.... and I have been pretty far down opiate path -- I suppose bone density was fairly low on the concern list but I think someone woulda mentioned it. (and perhaps did?)

Welcome :) I just lurked here for a long time, but I remember spending hours reading about trip reports on Erowid first. As far as the bone density stuff goes, it's been about 9 years since I started using kratom daily, bones are still very healthy. Kratom has overstayed its welcome for me, it's merely just a whatever buzz I experience once a day, I used to be a lot more hooked on it. At this point, I'm only physically dependent, weed has trumped basically everything I used to do. I cut back on benzos because they'd get in the way of a nice pure stone, Gabapentin would dirty up the highs, and I'm 6 years sober from booze next month.

Either way, I don't know if kratom is "hard" enough of an opioid to cause anything like that, but as far as I'm concerned it is. Especially considering I used to down some sketchy extracts that would have my ass higher than Oxys could get me. My intake in general used to be like 25-30g a day at one point, now it's 5.5g a day.
