Dark web - why don't you use it?

Without being somewhat technically inclined teaching yourself how to use PGP, crypto, verify market links, vet vendors etc can be intimidating and asking for help or accepting help from strangers online without having that foundational knowledge is a sure way to get scammed. Many learn this the hard way.

That said I taught myself how to tor during lockdown because I was bored and never looked back. Lately I've been using telegram more because I'm lazy and it's convenient.
how do you find the quality from Telegram compared to DNMs?

Fwiw I'm reasonably confident OP joined this site to scam people and this whole thread is just bait. Seen a million like it on Reddit. I'll be delighted to be proven wrong but I wouldn't DM them if I were you.

Nothing personal OP. If you've dabbled in the DNM scene before then you know the score, and if you are trying to scam people with phishing links (or whatever else), well, go fuck yourself. Hopefully I'm wrong and you stick around and make friends.

Welcome to BL.

Of course it can. DW is just a medium a dealer is a dealer. Some have good gear and some don't.
Not sure where you're located, but here in the US, the further away you are from a (Southern) Border City, the (often exponentially) worse the gear is. There are a few exceptions to this rule (I.E. Major Cities like Chicago and New York). But for the most part, you simply can't find top-notch product in the vast part of the country (Like you can on the Darknet).

I have no interest in scamming people but it is good for you to point this out, your skepticism is welcome and encouraged. I think asking people for help as in directions on what to learn can be helpful but a dm with a link or something would be extremely sus. Remember, links can always be PGP verified.

How have you seen people get scammed? Phishing links mostly? Or do they put a crypto address up and hope people transfer to it?

Always do your own research there is a shitload of resources out there. Assume everyone is a scammer or a fed.

I'm in the UK. Average cocaine quality based on seized samples has been known to range from anywhere between 14% and 90% over the last couple of decades.

Right now good coke doesn't seem that hard to find, I'm seeing more and more of vendors offering a washed option for a mark up as well as the usual stepped on shit, I know plenty of cokeheads but it's never been my DOC tbh last time I took it was a couple of years ago.

Usually by making posts much like yours to initiate the conversation, publicly agreeing with any skeptics who call them out in order to put the naive at ease and build trust before waiting for a would be online shopper to slide into their DMs seeking guidance at which point they'll kindly offer to link them to a market which will be a phishing link (often a mirror of a legit DNM where only the crypto deposit address is changed, aka a man in the middle attack) or a vendor they claim to have used before which will actually just be themselves on an alt account (that one's particularly popular on Reddit).

Because let's face it the kinds of people who get scammed don't know how to verify shit otherwise they wouldn't be asking, but they will take the scammer instructing them to verify their links and only use "highly rated vendors who employ escrow" as assurance that they mean well and can be trusted.

Oldest trick in the book, relatively speaking...

Most markets take only Monero now which is not feasible to trace. Most countries have delisted it from their exchanges now due to this, though it is still easily acquired through coinswaps.

Buying from a CEX, they can see that you bought crypto but that's it. There's no blockchain traceability after that of how much you sent, where you sent, or when. I understand this concern with Bitcoin, but Monero solves this entirely and is not traceable from buyer to seller.
Monero FTW!!!

To stupid tech wise to figure out how to do it while being truly anonymous --- id say message me but ppl have walked me through it here in the past and I couldnt grasp the instructions.

Fck though what I want is legal and it is frustrating!

That's a good point, that if they knew how to verify they wouldn't be asking. From what I have seen it's always just the scammer DM'ing the victim and trying to get them off the platform, and onto a platform like Session, or Telegram.

I highly encourage anyone reading this to watch some PGP tutorials. There's loads around and it will pay massive dividends. Verifying a link takes all of 5 seconds once you know how to do it. Cryptographic verification removes basically eliminates all this shit so just do it.

It's amazing how the whole dark net culture has changed for the worst.

When it began it was full of people with values, integrity and principals. Finally a place where people could do business in good faith. Quality control, no rip offs, all above board dealing where sellers and buyers both gained. Everyone was happy and it thrived.

And then the government stepped in and destroyed it all. Just like they are doing now to America and the world.
And of course everything turned to shit-scams and rip offs.

Government literally interferes in everything and ruins everything.

I use it lol, and I dont even use drugs anymore. There are som fun chat forums on there and I enjoy checking the state of the markets and forums. Just a visitor

Unfortunately, this is why I believe a lot of good things are best gatekept/kept small, the masses tend to ruin most things that were originally designed for smaller/esoteric groups with similar values and ideas.

10+ years ago it was wicked if you knew what you were doing and stuck to reputable vendors. Not used it since around 2016.
From what I hear good markets are harder to come by without an invitation and scams are alot more common.

I remember getting scammed for 1 bitcoin a few times (cost me ~£150 at the time) and not really caring. I went through easily over 50 bitcoins on the markets. If only I'd kept 5% of them....

*hangs self*

When it was good --- it was GREAT though. 20 30 ppl hypothetically pitching in to synth a barrel of w/e basically. That was all clearnet too lol
