Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v11

They’ll probably do it since they’ve kept him this long but I doubt the process would be slower if he just had left the psychiatric ward in the first place and came back. All he’s doing is staying in there and increasing his chances of being institutionalized by these people. It’ll be tougher getting out of there next time he gets put in there after they found out he was in there for a month. In America it’s doubtful you’ll end up in the same psychiatric ward twice as it’s whoever has an open bed. Not sure how it works in Switzerland, but he needs to get outta there ASAP. Nothing good comes out of staying In the ward for extended periods of time

I totally agree nothing good comes out of staying in those places peeoid. Im still dealing with the shit i saw in there almost 7 fucking years later
 
I drank an energy drink and it feels like my akathisa is sorta back also I was reading the forums from early 2025 and it seemed so much more fun

i think my worst memory of it, honestly one of the worst memories of my life, was when the doctor told me to quit being delusional about invega sustenna ruining my life or else he would have me thrown in the bigger psych hospital where the insane go. i felt silenced and afraid

It's hard for me to tell if the invega fucked with my memory or not as i am on benzos and zopiclone so my memory aint great anyway

Ya i was greatful to go in invega as i was psychotic and had cotards syndrome and was completely unmedicated. So the only thing worse for me as solitary which i did about 6 days or so all told in i think

Wouldn’t say I’m fully recovered yet but close enough. I noticed small improvements over the first 3-4 months but was still suffering cognitively and had bad anxiety. Things started picking up for me around months 5-6 and have just been getting better from there

did you your cognition get worse and worse until it improved?
 
ITs been 7 months for me. Should i expect to see signs of full recovery starting at this point? For people who fully recovered, how did you start to feel at month 7?

I mean, I don’t think it could have been any worse than it was… my mind was blank, at times I would forget what I was doing as I was doing it, my thoughts were horrible so I would be fighting negative thoughts with positive affirmations and telling myself I would be okay, even something as simple as planning a meal became hell and the best I could do communication wise was talk about how much I was suffering from the injections. All of that has changed for the better now.
How far off the injections are you and how many?

I took two injections and I am in 2.5 months in, the past two days it feels like my short term memory and processing has worsened, which is concerning me

Hey don’t be concerned, some days you feel worse than others and that’s okay. You’re only 2.5 months in so it’s too early to start having concerns… don’t be concerned unless you’re a year+ in and have little to no improvement. I know it doesn’t feel like it right now but things will get better. What are you doing with your time? Are you taking any supplements?

I'd garner to be concerned & look after yourself, seriously - I know the hegemony on here is to not alarm anyone but from personal experience, if you are suffering memory loss you should be concerned - any drug, especially invega, is not a lifestyle - it may be a crutch but it's not normal nor, healthy to sustain it, permanently - this is a forum that concerns "harm reduction" it's not about normalisation of sustained, drug abuse.

I hope you get good advice on here, but not from people so devolved in their addiction that they can't address, genuine concerns - my shitty advice is to eat zinc, magnesium supplements & omega3s...however, am not an invega user, so sorry I can't lend any more practical advice.

You're best off to consult chat GPT & also, sustain some decent, human connection that won't leave you alone with this. ❤️

So, i can be concerned if i’am 17.5 months without recovery?
