I suspect that without making it capitalistically beneficial, no sort of social movement would ever amount to shit on that front. The fact that fentanyl makes traffickers more money on every level from the chemist to the street level dealer, despite endangering users, is why it took off. Easier to synthesize, easier to smuggle, easier to cut and still have a product that will sell, and sure easier to die from too but I've spent enough time in the heroin dealing side of society to have seen first hand that when one client ODs, the rest come around trying to buy a "bag of junkiekiller", as I've had numerous people disgustingly say to my face. Capitalism, green and the heroin trade kind of made the perfect storm to land us right where we are, and I don't think the cat can go back in the bag.

I get my goods in Philly. But my setup is not something you’d expect..I have been getting my stuff from the same guy for over 4 years. He has never ripped me off. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes to meet me and that happened once. His quality is consistent and he has never run out or turned me away. It’s the almost unbelievable

I wanted to open a thread specifically to start conversation about Tranq Dope, as it has changed the landscape of the overdose epidemic and has rocketed it into a whole other plane of destruction. Not only will it kill you through overdose, but using it IV/IM will cause horrible side effects like scabs, sores, I mean it very literally eats your flesh away. Even using it nasally for a prolonged period will cause a lot of skin irritation eventually.

This is the next war in Harm Reduction. This stuff is killing generations and turning entire cities into Night of the Living Dead. I'm not exaggerating. It is an animal anesthetic. Not intended for human consumption at all.

But what can we do about it? Well first off, we should compile some information about the basics, and then next we need to look into harm reduction techniques and tactics. Figure out how to determine whether your drugs are contaminated with Xylazine. How to isolate it. These are things beyond my present knowledge, but my plan is to update this post with more information the more that we learn about the stuff. Please lend any knowledge or insight you have to this thread and help get the word out to the people that need it.

I've seen the sores first hand. These are the worst injection side effects I have ever seen, and I wasted years of my life injecting cocaine and methamphetamine. I'm talking about massive, permanent scars from a slight miss. Necrotic flesh that hardens over. It's fucked up. If you're a heroin user and this happens to you, please check into the ER as fast as you can.

I am blessed that I was able to get off of heroin a couple years ago, with only a one off relapse, but it was devastating and I woke up in the ICU. And I had a massive tolerance at the time. Last year, I lost the love of my life to an overdose. It destroyed me and I went into a year long downward spiral until I finally got sober from everything, it took weeks of detox. This shit out there is no longer heroin, it's not a joke and it's not playing. The Shrine is filled with beautiful humans gone too soon from this beast. I say all that to say, I don't want to see anymore friends or loved ones die. It hurts too much. I will always make myself available to support anyone here that needs help or just someone to talk to. I know this is an old post and I hope you see this. I am very passionate about trying to figure out how to eliminate xylazine. IT is awful and I miss the days of Heroin or shoot even just fentanyl. If you’re not doing any “street stuff” then there’s no need to remove anything. If you find a way to remove an unwanted chemical from a street drug, you would probably become a wealthy citizen.

I doubt North America will ever start receiving supplies of actual H again. I think the reason why I have been exposed to so many people who don't like Tranq is because they are long time users who remember H and were around when Pharmaceuticals were worth buying due to the price being cheaper and more available. Those people in my experience tend to not like it because it is less of an opioid type feeling due to it obviously not being one. I will have to do some more research and see if there is anything else I can do to help. By the looks of it, it seems like the only way to eliminate tranq would be to find something that's cheap / long lasting that's safer to take its place.

I don't use but my point of wanting to do this is to help people. Harm reduction is key. I don't see how that would make me wealthy at all even if I figured it out. I am sure someone already has who has a decent knowledge of chemistry. For example, decades ago I knew someone who would take codeine 30mg/300mg and crush them and remove the acetaminophen through an extraction process. He did this so it wouldn't harm his liver as he was taking so much. I essentially think there should be a similar way to do this. Most Users most likely will not go through all this anyway because they either like the feeling or are addicted to tranq as another person stated.

Yeah it’s absolutely fucking horrible beyond words. I’ve seen the damage that it does first hand. I used to work at a store that was in an area with a large homeless population where tranq is just rampant and let me tell you it is horrible. It is literally like something out of a movie. I’m talking like chunks of flesh rotted/rotting away and completely missing. Like chunks the size of golf balls and I’ve seen chunks the size of tennis balls just completely done like a shark came and bit a chunk out of their body and left an infected wound. They smell too. You can actually smell the rotting flesh when they get close to you in some cases. I’ve seen this in person with my own eyes. Also though it’s worth mentioning that there IS still heroin but it’s black tar heroin not #4 or afghan #3 like there used to be on the east coast. I’m on the west coast and black tar heroin never went away but it did become more rare and more expensive a lot of times but a lot of it is clean in terms of no fentanyl or tranq etc. I’m a heroin user so I literally see it almost everyday. There is definitely a lot of bth that has fetty in it but there is also plenty that doesn’t. Do with that what you will

That is crazy man. Please be safe. I am in New York State and I have seen things change so much. The farthest west I have ever been is Arizona in 2018 and I went there because I was considering moving to Phoenix or Tucson. Looking back, I wish I had looking back but it is what it is. So its kinda embaressing but funny looking back. When I was in Phoenix for about a month, some guy at a 7-11 near the motel I was staying at asked if I "wanted any black". I said no thanks and walked away. (I was on methadone and only using sparingly at that time). Its funny to me now because I didn't get the slang of the west coast and had no idea what he was talking about. In NY, we called the #4 from Latin America that we would get "boy". So its just crazy to me how different areas can be. Its very open air in some cities like Philly PA, certain parts of NYC like the infamous Spanish Harlem, parts of MiD town Manhattan and a mid sized city Rochester NY. In other Cities in the area like Buffalo NY, Niagara falls NY etc it is mainly sold out of houses and you essentially just have to know what houses to frequent. Sorry for the random facts, I just find the culture fascinating and thought maybe you would be interested if you have never been to the east coast. Its so weird. Up until about 5 years ago, Crystal was unheard of or very rare in NY. The main things after RX pills became expensive was girl, Hard, boy and that's pretty much it. Now it seems like its only Crystal and pressed tabs or Fent mixed with either xylazine or some other garbage. I am working on saving to move to either Seattle WA, Cleveland Ohio, or LA Cal due to some personal bs and I appreciate any imput on how it is over there. I wish H would make a comeback for the sake of society but as many have said, its hard to put the cat back in the bag since they have something that can be created without papaver somniferum. You appear to be intelligent when it comes to Pharmaceuticals and I am a pharm nerd so if you ever wanna chat man I am down. Its a very niche interest and not many people are into it like that. I heard its technically legal since its meant for animals and even then it is not used very often for veterinary anesthetics. Yet it is the most destructive substance I know of. I feel so bad for those people and I wish I could find out why this started in the first place. Yeah man I’d love to keep talking about this. I actually have a lot of friends that live in LA and I’ve spend time there. I don’t think there’s anywhere else like it because it is so huge that there is literally every class of society there all spread out from the absolute worst slums to the very tippy top of society and everything in between. So so so many people all spread out. I’d totally be down to talk about it more but I don’t wanna put too many of my personal details out there in an open post. I absolutely agree with you on xylazine. I’m seriously one of the last people that is for the criminalization and banning of a drug but at this point I see xylazine as closer to a chemical weapon than a drug. It's crazy I had a falling out with my plug I had for 10 years over it. He eventually started keeping shit without xylazine in it just for me, all the other users just adjusted to the garbage but I prefer to you know get high, not just not be sick. He stopped fucking with me said it wasn't profitable for him bc he can cut shit even further. Crazy, I'd rather be sick. Went to fall back plug and he dropped off 5 samples in 5 weeks and I just kept sending him back, nope, all tainted and like crazy. The first a bump was like time traveling 100% knocked out from the tester. Now he has regular fent which is nuts, my buddy on the west coast was bragging about having xylazine free fent like he used to brag about having real tar a few years ago. So you either have to be able to hold your money and make your plug cave in or order real shit if you go the internet way. Your plug only cares about money and xylazine stratches their shit far, they're peeps are all gonna die or end up in jail. Not worth it. If I can't get high it's methadone for me thank you very much. For everyone still using, I know it sucks being sick but enough is enough at some point. Don't let these assholes take what dignity you have, it may not be much but you are a human and alive and deserve better than the poison these assholes are trying to pass. Tranq will never get you high, it will only turn you off, eventually for good.

I have only gotten tranq dope once, which was in the past few weeks. It knocked me out, but had zero euphoric effect, so I knew exactly what it was after I woke up.

Fortunately, my guy will take back/swap out anything I get from him that I am not satisfied withh.
