Harm Reduction Xylazine Megathread - WARNING!!!! - Tranq Dope has contaminated much of the heroin/fentanyl on the East Coast USA

Also the bad scarring on my arm is from a couple years ago when I went on a bad run for almost a month straight and I still feel like my arm is ugly
 
Sebecous cysts can be caused by an ingrown hair and bacteria getting under the skin. They can also get infected. They look like small abscesses if they get red.

Also they frequently need to be removed if a person has had mrsa in their life.

The small one I have looks like a growing abscess

It's crazy I had a falling out with my plug I had for 10 years over it. He eventually started keeping shit without xylazine in it just for me, all the other users just adjusted to the garbage but I prefer to you know get high, not just not be sick. He stopped fucking with me said it wasn't profitable for him bc he can cut shit even further. Crazy, I'd rather be sick. Went to fall back plug and he dropped off 5 samples in 5 weeks and I just kept sending him back, nope, all tainted and like crazy. The first a bump was like time traveling 100% knocked out from the tester. Now he has regular fent which is nuts, my buddy on the west coast was bragging about having xylazine free fent like he used to brag about having real tar a few years ago. So you either have to be able to hold your money and make your plug cave in or order real shit if you go the internet way. Your plug only cares about money and xylazine stratches their shit far, they're peeps are all gonna die or end up in jail. Not worth it. If I can't get high it's methadone for me thank you very much. For everyone still using, I know it sucks being sick but enough is enough at some point. Don't let these assholes take what dignity you have, it may not be much but you are a human and alive and deserve better than the poison these assholes are trying to pass. Tranq will never get you high, it will only turn you off, eventually for good.
 
one issue is the blood infection caused and how to treat it. a PICC line is needed to infuse antibiotics over long periods of time. the doctors are afraid to install PICC lines on addicts because infusing is 100% easy to not miss infusing and it is too tempting to not to use for someone abusing the drugs. A normal IV is good for 3 days, the PICC line can be used for 60-90 days. If the patient goes on a bender and stops treatment, they can effectively shoot up without missing once for the duration of the PICC line. If the PICC line is not monitored every week by a nurse, it will get infected and the patient will for sure die.

The PICC line is a threaded connection and is too easy to not abuse once the addict knows they can infuse all day long without any issues. Instead of fumbling for 20 mins to hit a vein, they can do it with ease.

Tranq synergizes with opioids the same way clonidine does, you could argue that xylazine and clonidine are damn near analogs as far as functionality and people have been taking clonidine with their opioids since the pill mill days.

Dealers adjust to market demand, if people want fent free tranq, fine, let them have it. Most opioid users I have spoken to in person (many hundreds throughout my life) have preferred fentanyl to actual heroin, they find heroin to be too weak bc they've spent SO MUCH TIME using fent at this point.

Also I appreciate you pushing people towards methadone instead of sub strips, subs seem terrible for gum/tooth health.

Xylazine is a analog of Clonidine. They report Clonidine is 40 times stronger than Xylazine.

I have been prescribed Clonidine for the past 25 years to add to my opioids to increase the effectiveness. It really works well for this. Clonidine had a half-life of 16hrs as well.

Clonidine also helps as a brain relaxant, lowers stress, promotes sleep, lowers Blood Pressure & Pulse, quitting nicotine, and alcohol & benzo withdrawls.

I found adding it to benzos, sedatives/hypnotics, antipsychotics, and antihistamines makes all of them better without contraindications to worry about.

Clonidine is also very hard to build a tolerance to, making it very predictable.
 
Clondine and xylazine while similar are also very different. I used to be addicted to both Xanax and fett simultaneously. Xylazine does not improve or give you any sort of high and it's not approved for human use it is used as a sedative for deer, cattle and horses. It's much easier and cheaper to get which is why everything is being tainted by it. Has a stronger affinity for alpha-2 adrenergic receptors and a lower selectivity compared to clonidine, which means it may also interact with other receptor types. Potency is a moot point bc xylazine is cheap and comes with different potency to weight variables. The stuff being put in dope is not being mixed by a doctor. If you're an iv used xylazine will destroy your skin and veins. Do all the xylazine you want but don't go comparing it to clondine or benzos bc that is a huge misrepresentation that will end up getting people hurt. Personally I like to get high and to get what I'm paying for and these greedy plugs are just seeing it as a cheap substitute and it's not. The shit is literally destroying the supply and getting people hooked on trash they know very little about.

Suboxone not only destroyed my teeth but I can't take it without constantly feeling sick and like I'm being electrocuted. The shit is terrible. It sucks though because the methadone clinics around here are all being stricter than they have to with the new laws enected in the last couple years. The liquid handcuffs have made me consider going back to using so I have more freedom for work and family. Crazy right? But for now I'm trying. They at least gave me the high dose I need this time.

I would like to know the first person that added xylazine to a bag of opiates. Then hopefully addicts can parade him around with his head on a stick. Destroyed the game is an understatement.

A shit drug from a vet and people pay money. That would NEVER have flown 40 years ago. Not sure why but someone selling this stuff really irritates me to no end.
 
Does xylazine keep most opiates on your receptors longer or is it mostly paired up with fentanyl and other superagonists that have very short duration of opiate activity?

Cartels by some chance figured out they could stretch their supplies and profits by cutting fentanyl with xylazine and also have the effect of making their new and improved Cartel fetty 2.0 now available in every color of the rainbow have a duration of about 6 hours instead of 1 or 2.

I read about xylazine contaminated heroin but is that a real thing or is it all just purposefully added to fentanyl and anything with super short highs? Would there even be a point to add it to opiates that lasted 6 hours already like heroin or Carfentanil? Does it make them last even longer ?

As everyone knows it’s all a big lie anyway because while it may make the dope last longer it will bring along with it horrible sores and wounds that refuse to heal up with repeat use so it would have been better to leave it out in the first place. Avoid it with all your power.

It is a shame that people will accept this crap and there was plenty of diacetyl to go around. This is some Russian roulette shite -- what do you do cop a pack and try 2 mg at a time? (Honest question there must be some safety protocol?) Do you know if you did overdose if narcan would bring you back?

We need a movement to get heroin as the only active ingredient in heroin --- idk how. BUT I remember my economics teacher using heroin as an example for something with no substitute goods --- I told him he was wrong about that. I should shoot him an email (15 yrs later) lol. 'heroin has been substituted for something with less overhead and equal demand; that is economics' Guy who literally wrote the book used across America!

Every time someone offers me to cop I tell them if it can pass an array of tests for other active ingredients I will add 30% to the tag -- Haven't got a taker yet. (In fact ppl quit offering)

sorry if that came off hostile -- this situation is frustrating. Xylazine def shows up in dope. After I dropped off a HALF pack the same day as doing 4 mg of sub -- that shouldn't happen my worry was not feeling it not dying! Last time I had "dope" as well

Imo the street opioid game is never going back to normal, the cat is out of the bag as far as hyperpotent opioids go. Just based on the economics of it, what practical way could get diacetyl back to the streets in your opinion? Genuinely curious.
 
Only one way I see it happening -- people refusing to take the new synthetic shit. Which I did as it does feel like Russian roulette or 10 injections instead of one....

The other way I could see it happening is if there were enough ppl that would pay extra for shit that tests clean -- incentivising them to take the extra risk.

Realistically you are correct. Heroin was indeed substituted out for economic reasons. (and legal but more economical)

Edit *Third option -- the gov starts treating drug abuse like a health issue not a criminal issue and installs Heroin Assisted Treatment. All pipe dreams but they don't have to be

I wonder how effectively information uh, "warfare" techniques could impact this. I got my bachelor's degree in information security, and it's shocking how something analogous to brainwashing is real. It ranges from things like The Serpent And The Rainbow by Wade Davis studying Haitian zombie phenomenon, to MKUltra playing games in Pont-Saint-Esprit to see if they could dose an entire village at once. that shit reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode The Martians Are Due On Maple Street.

If enough people with enough social capital started only using cleaner/safer opioids, the perception will change. If we could somehow do the inverse of the stigmatization that occurred to PCP, and positively associate social capital (think "the cool people" or "the influential people") with safer drug use, maybe we'd see more tianeptine/7-OH lean. I'd argue that this has naturally happened over time to some degree, people younger than ~30-35 right now drink much less, are less likely to smoke cigarettes, and are much more likely to focus drug use on psychedelics and cannabis in my experience.

There's always been misrepresentation in unregulated industries, I've personally always seen it in illicit things like firearms, drugs, etc.

Back in the 60s-70s people were misrepresenting mescaline and THC constantly, there was a lot of misrepresentation of MDMA and LSD over the years, typically if you're not willing to reagent test something, you shouldn't use it. Imo the street opioid game is permanently altered, it's now not as easy as copping a bag, it's securing kilos of poppies to make opium like Hoggshire wrote about. Maybe it'll involve rigorously homogenizing pills you acquire somehow and then sending a sample out to a lab with a mass spec. I was in high school from 2013-2017 which was marginally before fent started looking, but we had certainly encountered hyperpotent opioids.

Classmates died from fentanyl toxicity, a very close friend of my fiance did too. Every time we encountered fent in this era it was in fake OCs. After I'd unsuccessfully attempted suicide on 500mg+ of oxycodone on no tolerance, I became the sort of "tester" for pills we got in, but my homie was the heroin tester as H always landed poorly on me. We were too young and stupid to understand that reagent testing was the move, and the fact that my little group of friends and I survived into adulthood is sheer chance. I really hope kids smarten up with this shit over time because I've been given spice as cannabis, hyperpotent opioids as less potent ones, a variety of confusing mystery RC benzos, nbomes as acid, etc.
