This sounds weird but when I was in college, I minored in biology and did a project on nutrition. I discovered that the ketogenic diet could be a potential treatment for mental illnesses and in particular, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders.
Ketogenic Diet Potential Treatment For Psychosis
It sounds like BS/"snake oil" but there does seem to be evidence from reputable sources like the National Institutes of Health and a Harvard doctor (Dr. Chris Palmer). It got me thinking, if it can put psychosis from schizophrenia in remission, I was wondering if it could also prevent drug-induced psychosis from amphetamines or at least reduce the severity of it.
I've taken illicit and pharmaceutical amphetamines (Dexedrine, Adderall, Vyvanse, meth from the dark web) and never experienced any psychosis though I also ensured that I always took a low dose and had enough sedatives to sleep after 15-20 hours.
