I'm also on leave for reasons I don't want to go into, but it ends this week. It's been booze, benzo and hash leave, but I avoided scoring off the guy who was gouching on the bench, so at least I don't have a pet junky along with throwing money away, especially if crack got involved.
 
I have a bag for life full of lisdex and dexies, enough to last me more than a year. I've taken a few breaks over the last few years but still collect the prescription every month. Figure I might as well stockpile if I can and you never know when a new GP will try and cut you off.

It's easier to skip a day on methylphenidate than with amphetamines I find. If I skip my elvanse for a day all I want to do that day is eat and sleep.

I know lisdex is meant to be the pro-drug for dexies, but I was wondering if they subjectively feel like the same thing to you? (Once the lisdex has been 'converted' and kicked in, obviously.)

My mother was a purple hearts (dexamyl) addict (and whatever she could get off the doctor or her 'associates') back in the day. Which was a lot 'in the day'. So I probably got into that particular thing in the womb.

Lisdex comes on more gradually and wears off more gradually but the bit in the middle feels more or less the same I think.

ya god damn I will be forever a bit *sigh* every time I remember the gal in school that seemed interested but somehow did never re-emerge the day after I had decided to ask them out in first occasion :D I can not complain with my current relationships but that case had some serious greek tragedy vibes. :D

I have also realized it is true what everybody told me; that maintaining some preferences is waste of time. Love does not ask my arbitrary, rationalized standards, it just comes and happens.

There was a batch of racemic amphetamine from the Netherlands around 2010 which was so potent that you only needed a crumb - orally, even - to get very high for ages.

Turned out it has methamphetamine in it also. But the street speed was so, so bad. I'd buy a quarter - yep, a quarter - and get through a huge chunk of it during the weekend. It got even worse when people started to sell 'base', which was just crap speed full of solvents, but then people started to associate wet speed with purity. If you let it 'dry out' it apparently got weaker. No, it's 'weaker' because you've been on it for two nights and your tolerance has been raised. I fucking hated that scene.

feels exact same for me, once it's fully converted (probs because it is the same)

I'd definitely advise regular days off stims for anyone, adhd or not. Helps a lot.

Had 10mg dex (normal IR) today at 12.30. Got a ton of admin shite done

Good to know, because I was a little concerned that it might rely on the individual being a 'good metaboliser', as is the case with certain opiates for example.

AFAIK and from the 2 further confirmations I've just received on here, it seems that isn't really an issue with this particular pro-drug.

I've gathered that the only thing to avoid is anything containing vitamin C / ascorbic acid at the time of taking, as it can mess with the metabolism of the substance.
 
did around three weeks dry recently

allowed myself yesterday out and guzzled 27 beers across three venues without eating past breakfast

insane hangover today, so hungover I was almost high, great sex to wake up to and a cannabis lollipop to relax and some hair of the dog this evening

simple pleasures ftw

The joke is that children are generally obnoxious and selfish. Not that they're card carrying NSDAP members.

I would've thought it was quite obvious. And I genuinely worry that you're going to apply that kind of censorious approach to the rest of this forum.

This is EADD. We do things differently round here. Allow us to be what we are.

Or lose us. You've already lost enough.
