I've searched the clearnet with no success, now I'm thinking about kratom?

Sorry o/p for derailing the thread, could anyone tell me the most euphoric strain? or one that will wake me up with a bit of motivation for the morning? Thank you.

Kratom is a very complicated substance to understand how it works, but I think it's rather like opiates, in as much if you get yourself addicted, the dose that relieves all the physical and psychological cravings is going to seem pretty good.

It's a substance that will allow you to waste entire days on the internet, or lazing on the couch streaming TV.

I only know of one UK based supplier, and ive had their products tested as genuine, but they aren't exactly euphoric. Although each of the strains smells fresh and clean, and has felt good at times. Each of the reds has hit the spot very well at times, but it;s pretty unpredictable.. It's like the substance knows if you're feeling anxious or depressed, or lacking energy, and it will help with whatever is ailing you. Current supplies are nothing like they were in the 2010s where the euphoria and musical appreciation was intense, but the withdawals were pretty bad. With the current stuff I've been using for some time, and I usually take just one low dose per day, it used to help with the methylphenidate comedown. If ever I go on a several day binge, taking 3 large doses for a run of days then I do feel bad physically and mentally on the day I stop. But the worst of it only lasts one day!! Its kind of like a hangover and withdrawls rolled into one.

I dunno if my experience is typical, lots of the reviews go on about euphoria. Which I rarely get from it.

The decent stuff used to give pretty bad w/ds/ Where you'd be talking flu like symptoms, no energy at all, and intensified feelings of depression for several days to weeks.. The physical stuff only lasted a week or 2 max, but the psychological stuff took longer to recover from.

Sometimes any strain will hit the spot, especially if taken in combos. The bali gold, bali, red jeruk, and vietnam are all good strains I would say,

The greens and whites and the house blend should give you a good energy boost. I think kratom is related to coffee, only much more of a well rounded experience. and current UK supplies are very similar in their potency and effects. Although there is definitely something going on with it attaching to the opiate receptors, which can lead to euphoria, but can also lead to addiction issues.

For me it always felt like a poor mans codeine, and I already find codeine pretty crap. I'm pretty sure the whole green/white/red thing is mostly marketing. If anything the sole difference seems to be how long the leaves have been fermented, if at all. There aren't actual different strains like you get with grass.

There are multiple Euro Kratom suppliers willing to ship to Britain. I have no idea why they're so willing to ship Kratom to Britain but none of the fun psychedelics or cathinones. Looking at the inventory on some of the dutch headshop sites has me green with envy.

Yep, kratom is definitely not great at the moment (although I can't be 100% sure if that's due to my own brain chemistry and brain receptors or absorption having changed, but I feel pretty sure that's not the case.)

In the 2010s the quality of the product was amazing, and there were significant differences between the effects of the strains of any colour, and so giving them separate names was meaningful back then. It's still slightly true to this day imo, but to a much lesser extent, as although I sometimes find it hard to tell the difference between various greens, reds, or whites (so that might be a gimmick that some vendors might use) the whites, greens, and reds are clearly very different in their effects. Well I can feel them at least, maybe others cant, for some reason.) I cant say that everyone will get them, but there are clear differences between the colours, with the reds kind of making you content just to idle the day away, the greens provide a balanced and calm energy, and the whites really are very stimmy.

Kratom is so complicated though, and it's hard to know why the effects arent even a shadow of their former selves. They are about 75% less effective to my brain, and so it seems to me that the quality of kratom has declined massively these days. Maybe LE are pressurising the sellers to do this, or who knows what's going on with the plantations? There are many things that can and are likely to go wrong. I suspect the source is a problem, they might not know the exact methods the growers used in the 2010s and earlier, but their exact growing techniques might have been part of what made kratom awesome. it might be a bit far fetched to think that LE is turning a blind eye to kratom, provided they dont make it too good, and ultimately extremely addictive.

I'm surprised to read about all the EU venodors being willing to ship kratom to the UK, but no one will send the more discrete to mail, RCs.

Personally speaking, my own stupid post-ban kratom order from Amsterdam got seized by customs, so they are looking out for it. I've read of lots of other people having the same result. I f I had to guess I'd say that the legal consequences for any RC firm getting caught shipping to the UK could be more severe, so none of them are willing to risk it.

The Kratom businesses have been paid for their product, so have no reason to care if customs seize their deliveries. Although I think some may offer a reship, I suspect most don't. and, it would bring them to the attention of LE, who might be trying to find a way to arrest the people who are running the show. Obviously, the same would apply for any RC companies.

I think its derived from khat in the same way MDMA is derived from saffrole? Chewing the leaves causes stimulant effects, though I imagine much milder.

There are ZERO RCs in south africa (at least local suppliers) and I can say this with complete 100% certainty. I've contacted almost every single dealer I know even the higher class white guys that sell 4-mmc/2cb and they tell me that the market is dead and there are no suppliers and the only method is import. The only thing I can think of is Kratom and some of those kratom extracts ive seen going around, but I dont necessarily see those as RCs.

In terms of Khat, I would not call that an RC. Its very old and commonly used and I dont really see it as a drug just like I dont see coffee as a drug, the effect is just very mild stimulation if you chew it on for a while.

I have been wating years now for RCs to arrive in my country. One day I will get that 5-meo-mipt

I wouldn't be so sure. British RCs in their heyday blew the Class As out of the water. I used to read stories on old DNM forums of coke and E dealers committing suicide because they couldn't move any product once MCAT was on the scene

Oh I agree for sure . I myself used plenty of them but I don't think I would have done that much if they were not legal/so easy to access like in europe... Even if some are worthwhile, on all of them we got so little information on their effects in long term or even mid term use its what make them dangerous I think.

yeah, people forget how bad the standard of drugs was back then. Cocaine was maybe 10% pure if you were lucky, Ecstasy pills were more likely than not to be absent of MDMA. The sole reason why Brits in 2025 can score relatively decent coke and super strong E's is that the dealers had to compete with mephedrone

I never came across the crystal stuff and I didn't really get into the RC scene until 2009-10 but I sure remember coming across some nasty ass stimmy pills. I remember seeing a report on hundreds of pills seized or surrendered at Glastonbury 2008 and none of them contained any MDMA it was tragic.

You can read tales from The New Monkey in Sunderland, the dance floor was covered in them, people weren't really bothered if they dropped them because they were basically worthless

Took the lot between 5 of us and were just wired nothing resembling a roll. The coke was a bit better but the crash the next day was brutal I was 8 hours late for work lol.

And now these days everyone complains pills are too strong. Circle of life eh?
