Psychedelics Mushroom Season

I find Ren’s music a little cringey sometimes but generally quite like it.
I haven’t heard much of his older work, so thanks for sharing!

@axe battler I hope you’re doing well <3
The video s or locations also are spectacular, imo.

They put you un the wrong foot, they contain hints of homages to artists,
which he/ they admire ,my interpretattion, could be wrong .

How they use acoestics ... :heart9:.
"Praise You" and 'Roxanne' that was something normally street musicians use.

Which also is, wonder if he had a musical schooling, all.
Their are or autodidatic DIY, or did the Acedemy/ lots of lessons.?

A close friend of a family member went to Uni with Ren studying some kind of music course (production-type stuff iirc but uncertain) so yeah he had some musical schooling

As his guitar play is better then most Musical gradues and people having 40 years off Guitar/ Piano lessons.

How they played "Bongo Bong" instead of minimal ManuChao [great version] Theirs was very well played.
Also the chemistry between the 3. And how easy it looks whie its not. Strings, not my thing.
Was on Guitar lesson s for years. Think I am more fitted for a Piano or Trumpet. Didgeridoo oh offcourse.
Harmonica, so a blower. And for the Piano i don t no just a beatiful instrument, easy to freestyle on.

And people would comment am i the only that cant play a instrument. Did you eve try it ?
As i can t play Piano, that instrument no matter what you do, just sounds good [if tuned !].

edit: sound like the Dutch Pop school. Which unlike the classic Musical Academy [sound boring imo] .

Doing better. Tapering diazepam and only taking shrooms with my gf. Sleeping is hard but it's part of the process. Hope ya good too.

Anyone finding many? Picked about 150 liberty caps up in the hills earlier in the week. Have found just a couple lower down but maybe it's not cold enough yet. Definitely wet enough though!

Advice welcomed on how to know when they're dry enough to jar. I have them in a room with a dehumidifier at the moment and they certainly look crispy.

I put them on newspaper underneath the sofa in my living room until they are brittle, depends if I have heat on but 1 to 3 days will do it.

Does anyone use the radiator to dry shrooms? Just on a bit kitchen roll? X
I have done that before, seemed to do a good enough job although I found the caps would stick to the kitchen roll as they dried, I've used a piece of cardboard this time and they don't seem to get so stuck.

Newspaper is also perfect. It absorbs any moisture leaving the shrooms without causing them to stick to the surface. It also catches all of the tiny maggots that emerge from the shrooms as they dry. None of them seem to get any further than the newspaper before they die, IIRC.

I used to put a sheet of unfolded newspaper out of sight on top of my cupboard for a few days for all the shrooms to dry, before then moving them to a tobacco tin for storage. Although I never stored them for very long before consuming them.

yeah newspaper was always our go-to, works a treat

also threading them onto string and dangling them from the ceiling or wherever is good too -air drying (discovered this once in the 90's when we had so many shrooms to dry that every available surface was taken...we had a lot)

If you have lots you can dry them in an oven or microwave but you may lose potency to carbonisation if you are not careful, air fryer should be good too.
A mate has a dehydrator but he's a fanatic.

I’ve got a 12 tray dehydrator, found a handful while walking the dogs but nothing substantial, but then I had the dogs with me so I wasn’t fully looking. Will probably have a decent mooch around at the weekend.

Revisted the spot where I found ~150 last week but only picked about 20 in the same time, I think its been too dry but there is some more rain coming at the weekend.

Seems like the season is over now, have had a bit of snow over this way and a couple of frosts.

I did go out two days after the dusting of snow expecting to find nothing (so I took no bag or box to collect) and found about 40, with nowhere to stash them I ate the lot as I went, which made for a wonderful end to the season.

Other than that I found about 9g of dried libs this year, not a huge amount for my efforts but plenty to keep me entertained.

Hope you all had some success!
