HORROR MOVIES ONLY

Forgetting Jessica is next -- Today so far I am watching "Forgive us all" a supernatural western flick -- despite the (fairly) low budget and derivative story line (Cowboys V aliens, Abraham Lincoln V Zombies etc) it has been pretty good. More in the vein of the supernatural series.

"Trapped" is a good watch too -- out of my normal horror movie theme but a horror movie.

I haven't but Ill be back tomorrow --- can I skip the first 15-30 and catch back up real quick. (slow paced movies are not my thing - prolly can tell from the list)

Thank ya for the suggestion -- I am flat out of shit to watch and anger to have about the news. (more anger always comes but I'm tired for now)

Okay I rewatched the nun and I have indeed seen the sequel as I remember a characters fate specifically -- The first one didn't do much for me. I don't know why it was paced decent, had some plot....I spaced out about halfway through and I don't remember being thrilled with the sequel - I am not sure I understood the ending of 2 in full though (Without throwing any spoilers out it was a bit of a confusing one hey?)

add insidious to that list of series that I get mixed up and ? on that -- I think they are all tied together in a way I did not like? (Idk I have some gathering to do). Not paranormal experience - those were just derivative (I think).

BTW -- This thread is dope and we need one for action thrillers. (Though I suspect opinions will vary wider on that) -- 2 minutes into "The Nun" it is the actress 100% she is from another one of those series (or I'm wrong)

Now 'Lets Scare Jessica' because I am that bored haha
Did u watch it?

Did u watch it?
Man I did not my streaming site -- nor my backup had it; was it fairly mainstream?. (I did catch the nun 2 and it was the rare case the sequel is better) I watched Tarot it was pretty decent. "Running out of time" or something 2025 kids trapped in a timeloop house of somekind, was very solid. Bring her back was good.

American horror story -- Season 1 - Asylum - I liked the 'gaslighting' season that was controversial or w/e, prolly my top 3 but I do not remember them all --- Oh the witches one was good as well. (The latter two less because of 'horror' reasons)

although they did come up with some solid (afaik) occult references in the witch one -- first time I heard of the voodoo coke snorting ( I wouldn't say God but w/e he is lol)

p.s. Nobody 2 is good but not a horror movie

Malignant was good (Whoever wrote the review I read did me wrong and put the plot twist/spoiler -- as the plot -- which ****SEMI SPOILER*** made the movie sound ridiculous

IF YOU WERE A GIANT RESIDENT EVIL ORIGINAL FAN -- "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" -- was exactly what I was hoping for when the original RE came out and I got kicked out for sneaking in and landed in f*ckin legally blonde 2 before being 17. --- True to the original games story line as much as a movie possibly could be.

'The Home' with *damnit* Pete Davidson was pretty good

'The last recovery' - Decent. You watch this weeks blackmarket "the American great rehab scam" (And you should if you are here) first it is significantly more sinister feeling-- till it gets fast towards the end.

Both rehab themed horror movies

28 years later --- I suspect I did not get the whole movie as it plays in theatres in Jan --- or maybe I (they) just got it real early somehow it was over 2 hours long --- Good - id say better than the first one (as that was your dime a dozen dombie virus break out movie) --- Not as good as the second. But again I suspect some trickery here. Was the correct movie, recognized parts of the trailer but not others?

Shoot on a similar note "The conjuring last rites" came out sep 3rd -- my streaming site has "Last rights" with Tom Berenger from the 80s when you click it! ---- (Doh!) Customer service! oh wait

I'm trying to get the courage to watch A Serbian film... Apparently it's atrocious...
A Serbian film is a twisted vile film (well the story itself is) i found the actual film a sexual version of the airplane mould.

A bloke with a big cock killing someone, using his hard on to kill by thrusting through the eye socket into the brain?

Salems lot...for me 👍

In that vein - "The collector" and some WWE movie with the word "prey" "the devils rejects" (Both/all of em)......Just flat disturbing category. Pawnshop Chronicles had almost that level of darkness infused with comedy

Ok so I saw the Conjuring Last Rites -- It was decent out of the series "Devil made me do it" is probably the best. BUT I DID PUT A FINGER ON WHY THEY DON'T GO OVER WELL WITH ME.

The Conjuring, The Nun, Annabelle, I think Ouija are all tied together to the Ed and Lorraine Warren world and in my mind they have been proven frauds. "Self proclaimed demonologist" who ends up bedding some underage girl who is living with them.

In addition to this they reference there "Haunted collected items room" many many times --- They sold it to (another in my mind) proven Charleton Zag Baggins (From Grand Rapids) and he opened a museum and it feels very product plug-ish to me.

Zak had a ghost show on air for a long time (still may) and his actions are notoriously childish to dangerous in the "Respected Paranormal Community" sounds like an oxy moron -- but I do believe in some supernatural shite lol

I feel like Hereditary kinda spoiled supernatural horror for me.
I mean, I love the movie, the problem is that nothing else that's newer compares.

In other news, The Haunted Palace is on Tubi, which has both Vincent Price and Lon Chaney Jr. in it in what is a splice up of both Lovecraft and Poe. I very well may just rewatch it again soon.

Love The Masque of the Red Death, haven't seen The Haunted Palace.

LOVE this movie. The book it is based on is something I highly recommend as well. It's very different but I love what they did with the material. It's like the movie is based purely on an aspect of the book and since seeing it and reading the book, I keep thinking what an awesome approach that is. The book itself is super weird and would be hard to adapt as a whole but going the route they did was a stroke of genius.
