I'm curious how something like this could get me off methadone. I gotta come off this shit and my dose is too high I'm scared to make the transition down with out ketamine, extra Lyrica, and benzos to get down to a dose I can switch to bupe again as its easier to come off. I don't want to be stuck on methadone my whole life or even the next few years.

It does work for Methadone from what I've heard. I think really it works with almost any opioid.

For anyone currently taking an opiate too strong to allow them to comfortably switch over to SR-17018, it makes it really easy to do a rapid taper. You can cut your dosage of your usual drug of choice by %20-%25 per day while taking the SR-17018 3x per day to smoothly transition onto the SR17 without any withdrawals.

You just need to make sure you have self control and actually taper because if you continue to use your usual opiate at a consistent dosage, taking the SR17 will not give you any benefit.

Watching this thread. Kratom alkaloids and oxy ir and morphine er have been what I have been using.
I still get my Rx meds, and I used the Kratom alkaloids when I ran out of my Rx meds, but now I am fully aware of the need to taper down off the Kratom products.

I'm specifically referring to Kratom alkaloids like:
7OH (hydroxymitragynine)
and pseudoindoxyl aka pseudo.
They are extremely concentrated alkaloids of kratom that are very powerful. I've seen the range of per tablet quantity of 7OH as high as 114mg per tablet and 7mg of pseudo in the same tablet. Typical commercial tabs run from 15mg per tab to 30mg per tab of 7OH or 10mg 7OH + 10mg of pseudo in a 20mg tab, but 50mg tabs are becoming more widespread.
For me, regular kratom powder capsules never did anything for opioid replacement, up to 45 capsules in 24 hours, but 7OH or 7OH + Pseudo tabs were a direct 100% replacement for oxy and morphine pills. The problem for me in pain management is over the course of 1 year of going from using up a 30 day supply of pain management Rx opioids in 15 to 20 days then completely switching to 7OH and 7OH + Pseudo until my Rx is refilled, in the last 6 weeks in the process of doing a lot more physical labor thus taking even more Rx meds until they are out then taking more 7OH and pseudo to fight WD and manage the pain associated with the physical stresses on my body, I reached a point where the stamina or "legs" or effective time span of the kratom alkaloids was 2-3 hours max at 100+mg per dose.
I started waking up every 2-3 hours overnight and had to dose or I couldn't sleep because of WD symptoms and pain. THAT was a major red flag!
That math translates to about 1,200mg per 24 hours of kratom alkaloids and that's too much.
Fortunately I read about others on this forum taking 400-800mg of 7OH and pseudo per day and the problems that caused, as well as recognizing what used to be for me a more economical way to replace my Rx meds (buying 7OH tabs) vs paying $1 per mg for Rx opioids wasn't so money saving anymore because of the short term of effectiveness and high tolerance that had developed.
I also read about people who only have taken kratom leaf powder, which has never been strong enough for me to use, going into WD and having trouble tapering down or off just that, much less the exponentially stronger kratom alkaloids.

Biomed Tech Guy - I would prefer to only be addicted to one kratom alkaloid than the whole kratom rainbow. Yea that is too much idk the exact potency in humans but 18x-23x potency of morphine in mice. Lets say really about 5x (feels about right, maybe 4?) -- that is equivalent to 6,000mg of morphine per day. Uncharted territory. Which is the real problem with these ultra potent ultra accessible RC's -- when they disappear ppl are really left in the lurch.

On the other hand thank God it exists for all the ppl whose doctors don't or underwrite scripts. Be responsible and don't ruin a good thing! (I'm not the guy to say that but oh well)

i can confirm. even made an account just to do so.

ended up taking methiodone from its initial release till last march, 250mg every 24-32 hours in the end to be pain free. this translates to +200mg methadone easily. then sr17 came along and i just always wanted to try a opioid peptide, considering how they are linked to all the fun of opes and none of the long term commitment. so i started supplementing my methiodone dose with 2x 50mg sr17 a day, for a grams duration. this didnt provide a high, yet apparently downgraded any physical addiction to traditional opioids you have to a significant degree. when i ran out, the only withdrawal effect i felt was unusually fast digestion.

if you are on any opioid with a long duration for a long time, this is your ticket out.

Someone asked so I found all of the academic papers and from the metabolism, it's certainly possible that like methadone subsequent N-demethylation to normethadone and dinormethadone (the latter being cardiotoxic) is ameliorated in methadone because that primary amine forms a cyclic imine. This cannot occur with IC26.

There was no human data only only very limited animal models. But I always work on the basis that a novel medication should be demonstrated to be safe (especially since we know methadone is cardiotoxic) rather than assuming safery UNTIL something goes wrong.

I'm pleased you are still with us and I am pleased that you have moved on to something we know a lot more about.

i still get 5 pills of 200mg substitol once a month and use it up as fast as i can, which is 5 days tops. thinking of it as something fun you can do once in a while. if you totally avoid something, it still has you in a tight grip. im just avoiding opes to maintain a baseline feeling of 6/10 or for pain management. switched to gabapentin for that.

didnt notice any of that. ive been around the block with opioids, ic26 easily had the best ratio between desired and side effects. havent puked from it once or broken out in a rash. just profound asexuality (nofap november lasted till february), constipation and physical dependence, while having a very functional painkilling that lasts a long time

I think it reasonable to suggest that sudden cardiac death (as the name suggests) means that anyone who suffers said cardiotoxicity won't be posting to BL warning others.

It's termed 'survirorship bias' but not often does it so directly mean exactly what it says.

But as you said, you are OK and moved on. I think that's the important bit.

Though I do believe this thread may have been scam baiting, as I received a sketchy DM about where to get it when I replied. SR-17018 IS legit. I have longtime friends with serious habits that used it with great success.

The DM also tried very hard to sell me on it with complete bullshit claims, claims that I KNOW are false. My tolerance is beyond touching (I use nitazenes) and there are no reports of it being used for that type of habit, and the DMer said it’s specifically great for nitazenes

Once again though, genuine SR-17018 is a truly viable option for treating WDs in a way never done before.

Though be very wary about seeking out this compound. It’s currently scarce. And expensive. So it’s prime scammer territory.

Hi all,

Long time lurker but I had to make an account to share my experience with SR-17018. I've been dependent on opiates for about 15 years, from oxy to subs to oxy to dills to subs to oxy. Tried to detox many many times but the mental game always caught me. When time slows to a crawl while you are in hopeless endless anxiety and depression. Just couldn't do it regardless of what method used.

Finally got my hands on the SR-17 a little over a week ago. Stopped my usual 300-400 mg of Oxy and started the SR-17. First two days I was definitely a little tired, occasionally hot/cold temperature regulation issues, felt very unmotivated and not myself but otherwise no acute withdrawal symptoms. By day 3, I felt completely fine, just felt sober. This is also when it seemed to do an amazing job curbing all of my cravings. It helped to stay busy so I'm not bored and thinking of doing drugs.

Anyway, for anyone having trouble kicking their habit, I highly recommend looking into the SR-17018. Took it for a week, and my last dose was 2 days ago, and I feel totally fuckin fine! I can't believe it honestly.

Wish the stupidity of the USA government would try’s to cure OUD. Instead it creates a black market for street drugs like Fentanyl from China and Mexico or put you long acting junk called subuxone, Subutex and Sublocade. What happened to the money the feds did with the lawsuit they won against big pharmaceutical industry. Then there is the lobbyist for big Pharmaceutical against if they can’t make any money from alternative treatments!

I'm pretty sure I know exactly what happened.... People bought it all up to resell at insane prices. While it was out of stock everywhere, I found some vendors asking anywhere from $500-$1000 per gram for the stuff!!! Insane. I think some assholes saw the potential and how much it could help people and decided to try and capitalize on it.

Of course I’m taking it all in stride with a grain of salt but been on 80s ( a lot of 80s) a day for couple years now. Absolutely could not get past a 2-3 days of WDs no matter how much or many comfort meds. I have some morphine analogs I’m going to switch to for a couple days then go all in on the SR. Still trying to hone in on a good starter dose but as I believe someone mentioned, might start SR with a little morphine. I think the shorter acting morphine would be better than going right into from “oxy”(zene). Good luck everyone! Will update in a week or two.
