Yes. Sort of.
Meth completely depletes your neurotransmitters. So of course it's gonna fuck you up when you run out.
It takes me over a week to feel "normal" after doing meth. I'm very sore, emotional, anxious, etc..
The only difference is that after a meth binge, I'm still able to sleep & I sleep a lot. During an opioid withdrawal, it's very hard to sleep or feel relaxed at all.
It's always been this way & it's one of the reasons I don't do meth anymore. Fuck feeling like that. I did meth off & on for 25 years now almost & it's always been this way. This crash & then persistent low mood & energy lasted well beyond after running out. There's no such thing as meth without a crash.
Coming off regular amphetamine/adderall is a lot easier. I'm usually back to "normal" withing 2 days of doing that, but meth is a different story.
You might just have some shitty meth too, but coming off ANY form of meth is going to suck. That's what gets people trapped on it until they end up in psychosis.
Don't believe the "there's fentanyl in the meth" myths either. There's no logistical way to cut meth shards with "fentanyl", since just a little bit of a fentanyl would get an opioid naive person sky high. Less than 1% of crystal methamphetamine in the US is "cut" with fentanyl & it's not really "cut" with it, more so it's cross contamination from dealers selling both & weighing them on the same scale. I assure you it's highly unlikely that there's any fent or an "opioid" in with your meth or anything like that, if the thought ever crosses your mind.
Meth will make anyone feel like shit once it runs out. Especially the older you get.
