Dr Seuss made a believer outta me. I was always of the opinion "acid is acid and if it's impure, just take some more.." but like Clint says in Unforgiven "Dr Seuss, he cured me of all that" - there is something truly magical about Dr Seuss.

I tried chocolate mescaline but at the time I was too far gone into my own mental illness to gain any real perspective of the substance.
That chocolate must've been insanely bitter, an average low dose of mescaline is a quarter of a gram and it tastes absolutely foul.

Had to come back after an extremely fruitful venture with DOB plus some of that Dr. S!! Holy shit was this impressive. Deep cathartic sobbing and equally deep belly laughter/most curious visions. Psychedelics always surprise me just when I think I've seen it all.
It also puts into perspective (at least for me) how underdosed street blotter is. With this stuff I'm certain it's the marketed dosage if not more.

It's structurally quite similar to MDA, but it's marginally more psychedelic in a way that's more similar to LSD than MDMA. It can be easily extracted from a variety of cacti.
And there's barely any bodyload. I take it and I potter around the house for an hour or so - barely feeling any change - then I step out and walk to the forest and it's like alice in wonderland! I can usually get to sleep the same day too if I take it early morning.
Relative to tryptamines, phenethylamines that aren't low doses of mescaline/2C-B, or THC I've always experienced bodyload more intense than LSD, personally. PCP analogs have a fascinating numbing effect that would mask any potential body load, though. I've gone through more sheets of blotter and gel tabs, vials of liquid LSD, etc. than I have kept count of, and it all seems to be a function of dose. With weak blotter, 17 tabs felt equivalen to about 4-5 drops of the most potent liquid LSD I've ever come across. It sounds so absurd to say things like "My [at the time] boyfriend, now fiance, split 34 tabs and watched Stand By Me before having a very profound experience holding one another and exploring our cognition the same way I'd navigate a machine I was interacting with, but it was myself. He was doing the same, describing Dr. Seussian machinery that he realized was the mechanisms through which his cognition and emotions functioned." Acid's truly a gift from the gods, thanks Hoffman.

When it rears its head, I'd say myself that the LSD bodyload is more intense than allylescaline, THC, and sometimes mushrooms. It seems less consistently produced but it reminds me of the rushy feelings I get on Ayahuasca/DOx/Mescaline comeups. If I'm in a good place and excited about something it seems to manifest stronger.
Honestly I regret making this thread about a single psychedelic as (most) every substance is special in its own way and its an injustice to pick only one.

LSD, 2c-e, and mescaline for me. DOM is up there as well. Gonna get a chance to try out DOC sometime soon, and I have big expectations for that one. I love psychedelic amphetamines.
