During the dark times (for me) it helps to find and think about quotes from other people:

"To the world, you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."
"Be who you are and say how you feel cause those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
"There's always a little truth behind every "just kidding," a little knowledge behind every 'I don't know,", a little emotione behind every "I don't care," and a little pain behind every "It's okay."

And most of all: "When you can't look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark."

Do you guys have any?

i wouldn't say this is very uplifting, but it's good.
as is this thread, in this sub forum.

my ad hoc contribution:

“When everything seem to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it ....”

― Henry Ford

"The night is getting old," said Aragorn. "The dawn is not far off."
The Fellowship of the Ring

"All that is gold does not glitter, not all who wander are lost"
The Fellowship of the Ring

"Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I use to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world."
Anne of Green Gables

"You wouldn't worry so much what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do."
Eleanor Roosevelt

"You're mad, bonkers, completely off your head. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are."
Alice in Wonderland

the classic "you miss 100% of the shots you dont take" - Wayne Gretzky

Not uplifting but a quote that I like "Always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours."

"Always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours."
Why would I care whether anyone comes to my funeral-- or even if there is a funeral?

I won't know the difference. Or if I  am aware of anything at all, I probably have more pressing concerns.

After that song I had to tell you about these two poems cause I think you’ll appreciate them being a girl momma❤️

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
By Marianne Williamson

And

“You torment yourself wondering how they could not love your burning heart; and the answer is darling, you are not the star you thought you were. You are the fucking universe and not everyone is an astronaut.”

Those with me!! If you don’t mind, this is a poem I wrote for my daughter about a week ago. Lmk what u think 🥰

To my daughter—
You are protected,
You are equipped,
And you are unstoppable
You possess the finesse
To maneuver any obstacle
Wisdom to adapt to change
Unshakable self-esteem
Confidence to stand alone
And the verve to scale a dream

Maybe that is the purest and most radical kind of religion -- simple attention. Present- moment awareness. Instead of a belief system, awareness sees through all beliefs.

-- Joan Tollifson

There are people you have to like and there are people you don't need to like.
