Misc First drug you tried that you instantly fell in love with?

That's why I mentioned Morphine, too, because for some reason people tend to count alcohol as separate to other drugs (even though it isn't) so I didn't know if OP was including it or not.

Alcohol actually LED TO my drug addictions.
I was prescribed benzos for alcohol withdrawal and seizures. Plus, Zopiclone for sleep. Then I got acute pancreatitis (#7 in the most painful things a human can experience) from the alcohol and was given morphine, diamorphine, then oxy.

There is no amount of MDMA that can be fit onto blotter, just for future reference. If the tabs were bitter, you may have encountered a DOx or 25X-NBXX compound. If it had no taste, did it last 10-12 hours? If so, that leans towards it being just normal LSD with a cool reputation.

Oof. That's 20+ years ago... I don't remember the duration, but it went far into the night... What I remember is that we were couchlocked with our jaws clenching so hard it was difficult to speak...

The latter probably applies mainly to people like me who were born genetically predisposed to alcoholism.

I remember at age 12, as the boozy feeling saturated me, thinking Oh! This is what people mean when they say they feel "good."

Oddly enough, alcohol was not my first addiction. That would be tobacco.

I was fully dependent on cigarettes by age 14, whereas my addiction to alcohol didn't really kick in until age 18 or 19.
 
Oxygen, from the very first breath, i cried at the awe inspiring beauty of life. I tell ya man, everytime i try to quit. Im afraid im going to die.
Oxygen, the best chemical to enter my system because without the breath, their would be no other experience.

Sounds a lot like a DOx compound imo, I wonder which one. I'm a huge fan of DOx's personally, but they were one of the first "fake acid" families of compounds. They last a super long time, exhibit high amounts of stimulation, and are beautiful psychedelics.

Yes the thread question is a bit of a mix of all, so it was a lot to answer somehow 😅 (definitely didn't fall in love with weed lmao 😂)

Ok.. I never had much of a chance to experiment with different types of psychedelics aside the common ones, so no idea here... But stimulation idk. It was couch lock as I said... Though people manage to sit quietly on stims, too 🤔 ... Definitely not my type of drug (stims) so I really can't tell 😶‍🌫️

I've fully gotten off the sleeping pills and benzos (though I am on a LOT of Gabapentin so I'm still on gabaergic drugs, but it's better than being on benzos) but I'm still fully dependant on Morphine. Never been able to get off opioids. I've been on anything from high doses of fentanyl and oxy at the same time to only take the prescription dose of codeine, but I've never been OFF them totally.
