And being able to have basically anything whenever you want it makes you want to do weird things like run countries or colonize planets to pass the time.

I think only ones that are addicted to the greed like itās a drug are like this.
Itās like recovery when they reach that addiction isnāt about drugs itās about obsession for more and more experiences and āactionā
Then you hav more normalā¦lets call them ānon addictā billionaires. Jack Dorsey is a good example. Tens of billions was enough for him to go live in Asia alone and never be heard from again and be satisfied. There isnāt this need to gain more and more and control the entire government and planet and become the first trillionaires.
I think youāre letting being a billionaire dictate the actions more than who the person is.
So many of them we donāt even hear about ā¦.because 29 billion is enough for them and they donāt need the attention of all of planet earth and control of it to be satisfied. Ie they donāt have an empty void then need to fill with āmoreā whatever that more may be.
Whether Elon does actual drugs or not; he text book displays the behaviors of a true addict that donāt have to do with drugs. Self hatred, low self esteem, lying to impress others, taking everything to an extreme. These are all things most addicts identify in themselves when they self reflect about who they really are (part of 12 step work). If heās this way it wouldnāt be far fetched that heās on drugs. Especially when you add in the fact that heās admitted it and people around him keep saying it. As another famous billionaire loves to say about many things:
āMany people are saying itā
