It was bad enough when real celebrities were being speculated about. But now that the music industry is on it's almost dead and the movie industry is dying; having billionaires as the new gossip objects just makes it worse. Feeding into the ego's of a bunch of rich overlords, just makes me cringe. They are filthy rich, whatever; but I preferred it in years when the people who actually did things( like make hugh albums and blockbuster movies) were the subject of mindless gossip and speculation. Making these rich guys into celebrities can only make them even more insufferable imho. I just preferred it when those whose fame was sort of earned; were the subject of pointless gossip and speculation. Inflating the ego's of the super rich is even more nauseating. Seeing the death of tabloids and other such rags, really does make me happy. No, I am not jealous but having more money would be nice; but then again most would agree that having financial security would be very nice.

It's not even about needing multiple people or 'Rome wasn't built in a day' its specifically that elon doesn't do anything for himself. Not research, engineering, nothing. He's just the money.
