🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

A near perfect day so far.

Weather is great & I am getting as much Sun as possible, had a good Spliff which was made up of the dust stuff you get that collects in your grinder, smoked 1/3rd of my gear & had to take a break as it was getting too strong.
I am sssoo itchy & well high on Morphine at its best, I am NO fan of Lou Reed but the song "Perfect Day" wraps it up so well & it is always a good day when you can relate to it well.

I got a walk of 2.5 miles before I am back in my flat as I had to go score for my mate, the guy with the really strong gear won't serve him so I have to go do it for him but when I am this High & the weather is like this I enjoy taking a slow walk along the Canal from the block of Council Skyrise flats back to my flat, I like to see all the doggos out for walks along the Canal too, also on days like this I like to make a good coffee & go do some meditation in the local park around 5:30pm for an hour maybe upto 90 minutes as the Sun goes down & the sky turns that amazing Purple / Orange colour.

Hope everyone is well & having a good day.

Anyone on here have any ideas / suggestions for a good walk around the Coast of Cornwall?
I have had a look on Google & this came up but the walks are all ones you can do in a day, maybe 2 at the very max & I am looking for something that will take several days & you'll need to do some "Wild Camping" for several nights to complete it

I want to go do a good week this Summer along the Coast for a break, I think I must be the only junkie around this part of the UK that LOVES going for long walks when the weather is like this & really looks forward to sleeping on the floor under the stars, having to carry everything you need which isn't that much really to survive, setting up your tent after doing 10-14 miles in a day when you been walking from 9am & pull up for the night around 6pm, set up the gas-stove to make a cuppa Coffee, stick on some Jah Shaka Dub Reggae as you make a Blunt & maybe break out the Tough Nut O'Donnell Moonshine or maybe their 50% ABV / 100% Proof with some Mountain Dew to take the fire outta the booze & settle in for the evening.

Walking & sleeping along the Coast Of Cornwall & a copy of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" to replace the TV sounds a Perfect way to spend 10-13 days.
When I asked my mate if he wanted to join me for a walk his reply made me laugh "You think that is Fun? you actually wanna walk miles each day in the Sun when you aren't being forced to do it? You aren't right in the head"

A person can only sit in a flat smoking Heroin for so long, it is fine during the Winter but when the Sun comes out I get really "itchy" in the Soul to ramble & move around, one of the things I have always loved about the USA is how HUGE the place is, if I lived there I would be a Hobo without question, I would follow the seasons around & do picking fruit on farms etc & ride the trains like the classic Hobos, how anyone can read Jack London or Jack Kerouac & NOT get itchy feet to go on a ramble is beyond me I swear to God, just take a look at Montana on Google Images & try to tell me it didn't melt your heart.

"Well, I been up the Mississippi to the Manitoba line
I've been downstream to the Gulf of Mexico
Followed the sun out west to California
And there just ain't no place left for me to go

Spent a lonesome month in Maine and a year in Louisiana
Packed my bags and hit the Westward Trail
Rambled down through Texas 'til I came to El Paso
Spent a week in a stinkin' Juarez jail

Well, I rambled through Nevada gamblin' most of my life away
I headed north when I heard Dakota call
Well, I stayed until the northers came rollin' down the line
I headed south when summer turned to fall

I've been north and east, south where the cotton grows
And out in the west where the sun forever shines
Well, I've bent my back for a dollar a day in a Texas sugar field
Laboured in a Minnesota mine"

Montana is Pure OMFG :love::love::love:

you 3 got any ideas / suggestions to Google search & have a look at?
I am NOT shy of doing some proper walking, to do 10 miles in a day &have a walk of 10-13 days with the least of 8 miles per day will be fine, that will be nothing for me to do.

I know 90% of Junkies are only able to move when they know Heroin is waiting for them but I am not like those lot, I am excited just thinking of walking the coast as I sit here in the Industrial wastelands of the UK known as The Black Country.

@Zopiclone bandit I can't help you there mate but I will encourage you to steer clear of the cliffs of Polzeath. You could also give some thought to walking the Welsh coast/mountains instead/as well sometime as the landscape can be very similar to Cornwall and the vibes too. And half the journey time from your yard too

see you been posting some Scientist righteousness in the music thread - was blessed to see him do a live dub of a band playing 'curse of the evil vampires' last haloween in London on an epic soundsystem. First time I'd ever ever seen him or even noticed him playin anywhere, tbh I though he was long dead!

edited as made mistake, was Scientist we saw, not Shaka @Zopiclone bandit

Not Cornwall, but recently did the Edale, Kinder, Mam Tor route. (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/vi...edale-and-the-high-peak/mam-tor-circular-walk) Legs were sore after because I've not been active in awhile and become a bit of a fat cunt. Pretty nice, not challenging, weather is pretty good as is visibility even in shitty weather. Easy to smash out in a day and loads of places to sling a doss bag down and get a brew on.

@Zopiclone bandit I know you didn't ask me, but I just wanted to chime in with the 'coast to coast walk'. Not sure if you've seen or heard much about it, but it's from St Bees, just to the west of the Lake District, and it finishes in Whitby (Goth Mecca), on the East coast. I think the first section is along the coast from St Bees, IIRC.

The leg from St Bees to the eastern edge of the lake district part looks to be by far the best bit. And I think that section can take 4 days or so. I might give it a go myself at some point.

I think there's mini bus services that will drop you off and collect you from various points along the route. And / or take your camping equipment to any of these point for you, if you dont want to have to lug it all around all day.

I think it takes 14 days or so to do the whole coast to coast. The main thing to watch out for seems to be toe blisters, with quite a few people having their plans derailed by this. So not a good time to try out a new pair of any kind of footwear if you might have intended that. It would have to be tried and tested footwear only, all the way for me.

I’ve done the west highland way in a new pair of Altbergs, do not recommend.

Yeah I've also made the mistake of buying new footwear for trips where I planned to be doing a lot of walking. And then found out too late that they either weren't comfortable or caused blisters.

I don't wanna be too far removed from "The World" as if I am right out in the middle of Scotland / Lake District & run outta Rizla how am I gonna buy more to skin up?

I prefer to carry my own stuff, it's like these people that go walk the The Camino de Santiago in Spain, they collect all the Shells & stamps etc YET jump into a Minivan etc, you do a Proper Job or don't bother.

I soon understood why The Naga Baba's only carry water in a small pot with them or drink from a River etc when I tried to carry 3 litre of Water in my Bag ;) =D
