I dont know how people can not like weed really. The stuff helps keep me sane. If i didnt have weed i would probably be pissed off alot of the time.

But ya some people just dont get along with weed. My friend gets bad paranoia from it and wont touch it.

No paranoia or anxiety. If I’m going through really severe opiate withdrawal a little hash can be slightly helpful. But I’d never use a weed product if I had any other choice or in any other scenario. Stoners have been trying to get me to enjoy weed for 25 years with no luck. I don’t like feeling dumb & slow. There’s infinitely better drugs for any worthwhile effect weed can provide. Maybe the enjoyment of food but that is not worth all the negative effects.

Have you tried stimulating weed strains? African landrace sativas with THCV in them like red congo or durban poison are pretty stimulating for weed. I have some maui wowie shatter coming tomorrow and i am so looking foreword to it as thats a pretty good sativa as well.
 
i was sober for a bit about 8 year ago an i have to say that was the worst drug ever, and before that gimp who loves saying things are drugs and spamming stuff jumps in to say whats a drug or not, sober is a mix of my endogenous neurochemicals and hormones.
Also some of the obscure research chem stimulants like 4-Chloro-Amphetamine kills serotonin, it is used to target and kill serotonin in experiments.

I love my sativas so i do. I got a Oz of Mango haze atm, when you crack a bud open it smells like tropical fruit and mango. Great stimulating buzz too
 
A lot of people here that like weed seem to have psychotic/delusional disorders

It's not useful for me but I don't hate it either

Worst drug for me was a serotonergic psychedelic that was supposedly an analog of LSD, been over 6 years since that night and I still cringe thinking about it

I also don't respond very good to certain stimulants if the main effects are produced by huge serotonin release

Lots of anxiety, nausea, vomiting, and numb feet/hands in some cases

Ive never had that one before. I cant wait for my maui wowie shatter to get here in the morning. Im gonna order more of that when i get the money. I wish i could find some durban poison or red congo shatter.

I do like indicas to though. My fav indicas are northern lights, Hindu-Kush and also dutch treat. Unfortunately i have never seen these 3 of the legal market yet. They are even rare on the illegal market. Hash made from them is also awesome

I’ve noticed the more schizotypal are the most drawn to weed. I’m definitely more autistic despite having some schizotypal traits.

Look guy theres no deniying it im delusinal as fuck, i got 8 different personalities, 6 of them are unpredictably violent and the other 2 are pussys but we all love drugs...drugs unite us
 
i ate a whole packet of nytol then went to see a play my cousin was in at this super fancy thearter . unfortunatly it turns me into an actual retard i kep forgetting where we were pure chatting to these old as fuck grannies then i would black out an start stroking the back of the head of the cunt in front of me hahahh then id snap back to reality with my hand on a stranger an a bunch of pissed off people i would appoligise profusly then black out 2 min later an repeat. no idea what the show was an i tink i only didnt get arrested cause they thought i was disabled...not so fun....kinda funny after tho

Most of the people that i know that smoke weed are not the delusional type at all. Most of them are rather boring especially compared to people that drink instead and end up in a mess.

I smoke weed everyday and am pretty boring. I dont really do much besides lift weights, smoke weed, go in the woods and watch movies. I dont drink that often these days so bars arent my thing either.

Well given that its a thread about antipsychotics there are bound to be people there that are psychotic. I dont think weed is something that causes psychosis in very many people at all. Alcohol causes psychosis far more.

I had temporary psychosis and it reminded me of the time when i was 12 and took 25 dramamine. In my defense we did not have the modern internet when i was that age to look up what dramame in high doses would do. This was 94 after all so its not like bluelight, erowid or even wiki existed then. I thought that since it said on the bottle may cause drowsiness that it would be like valium. Boy was i fucking wrong. But ya psychosis is very much like dramamine

you are spot on actually a load of dramamine or similar causes an effect very similar to pshychosis, and not like meth induced lack of sleep pshychosis

A large UK study showed a strong association between regular cannabis use and mental illness. Now it's my opinion that what we see is people self-medicating. But on a per-user basis, cannabis was shown to affect mental health more than any other drug. We don't get much methamphetamine in the UK so maybe it's under-represented but we get a lot of cocaine, MDMA, ketamine and various hallucenogens. But it was cannabis that showed the strongest association.

My theory is that until the 90s we got hash and maybe what was represented as Thai but was likely Mexican. Both of those forms contain quite a lot of CBD which is an antipsychotic.

But not this new skunk stuff. When that replaced the other stuff, that's when the association became much stronger.

I don't use it because I can't be bothered. It seems like a way to waste time. But that's just me.
