EADD Benzo Discussion V. Waking up in a Wakefield skip

I have a few days off work, and have just topped up my usual daily clonazepam dose with 5mg of Nitraz.

I have completed some things off my to do list for today, even if not all of them, so that was good enough reason to treat myself  (I never get everything done from a days To Do list.)

I don't think I've ever used Nitraz in the daytime (or early evening) before, and am definitely feeling super relaxed and chill off that dose as soon as it has very noticeably kicked in.

Not the sort of thing that should become a habit, but as an occasional indulgence for a few hours of chilling it has hit the spot very nicely.

A whole 10mg on top of the clonaz would have been too heavy and too much for the daytime me thinks.

I was undecided whether to opt for 350-500mg of Soma or 5mg of Nitraz, and I definitely think I've made the right choice, as it FEELS GOOD!

Besides, Soma is such an unpredictable beast of a substance. And even more finicky and unpredictable if your stomach isn't completely empty. It can either do nothing, or konk you out, or anything in between! It seems to be relatively rare for it to hit just right and give that nicely semi-euphoric gaba drunk like feeling.

Nitraz is awesome for me, i seem to have a ton of up and at em type of afterglow the next day, usually get loads done.

I remember the mid 90's and they were massive pills, like paracetamol, 3 for a quid.

Take it easy mate.

Was one of those benzos that did very little for me qhen it came to sleep. A 20mg dose nitrazepam with 2mg alzam and I was still awake. N

Not a fam of nitrazepam

Sidenote: they still massive pills here

I find it the very best benzo for sleep (low tolerance - I take a benzo/z-drug once a week-ish)

Had 10mg Nitraz last night after smoking hash, 1.5 hours later sleeping like a baby for the next 8 hours (usually sleep around 6 and wake up a couple of times during that)

I have high tolerance so need a lot and when it comes to nitrazepam, just too much is needed.

But I take temazepam then I'm always guaranteed a good night's rest at even 20mg with my tolerance.

But my favorite bed time benzo only cocktail is .250mg triazolam plus 20mg temazepam. Best nights rest ever for me.

Flurazepam use to work well for me but got too expensive and after a while it also become less affective.

Last hypnotic benzo on my list is quazepam but so far its being a bit hard to come by.

Yeah all Nitraz pills Ive ever seen have been huge aswell, almost the size of a fruit pastille!

You got a benzo monkey on your back Bleaney? Not that etizolam is it? I was only taking them a week and when I stopped I've never known depression like it. God I felt like dying.
Although I don't like your way of putting it, (even though I can't deny it) I kind of do. But the truth is the Bzs do enhance my quality of life, and enable me to do many more things in relative or absolute comfort than I could otherwise. Including holding down a job.

And that's not just an addicts self deception / rationalisation / w/e

My Autism and social anxiety and sensory issues have me well and truly fucked over, and personally speaking, benzos help me enormously with those things. So much so that I can manage to appear 'normal' quite a lot of the time / in certain situations.

I wouldn't even have any problems with having a lifelong habit or dependance tbh, if it wasnt for the restrictions it places on foreign travel.

That aspect really sucks, as it sucks to not be able to get off this island, while this situation lasts. It's the strongest motivation that I have to try to do something about my habit. There's so much more of the world that I'd like to see, but am unable to do so. That's probably the ADHD side of me.

I've read many theoretical accounts that Etizolam is meant to be the most forgiving benzo type drug to w/d from, although I've not encountered many first hand experiences that I can recall. I have heard / read from various people that Lorazepam and clonazepam are really awful to w/d from.

I've ended up on clonaz rather than etiz. For reasons I've mentioned many times in the benzo thread.

Still - gonna buy a benzo stash soon. I have diaz to last me a few months at present rate, but looking towards stopping daily usage, with benzos used P.R.N. for situations of high anxiety. As a result, I'm like to get myself 100 alprazolam as a long term stock. I've never been remotely tempted to abuse alpraz (last 100 x 0.5mg lasted me several years), I just find it superb for the relief of panic attacks or intense social situations I can't avoid. I don't even need to bother with it for dentist anymore since I have a referral only dentist now that can hit me up with a benzo for treatments. Not sure what they use, but I think it's midazolam.

Congratulations man. That is a tremendous achievment!

How has it been / how are you feeling, in terms of any w/ds or rebounds?

Thanks Bleaney - and happy new year if I haven't wished you it already!

I did first 5 days of alcohol detox with the intention of doing 10 or even 15mg diaz, since I already was doing 5mg on top of the drink each night. I tried my usual 5mg though, and I was comfortable enough even if I didn't sleep well. First week was characterized by a lot of broken sleep and nightmares. Sweat like a pig on night 1. I then got too bold and decided to go no diaz, so days 6,7,8 were without diaz too. By day 8 this had become excruciating, with panic 'zaps' creeping in and feeling very irritable. So I went back on the diaz from day 9 to currently 18 at 2.5mg and while I feel it a bit its not been nearly as bad as anticipated. The desire to drink is a lot stronger than to do diazepam but I'm keeping sober all the same. Nightmares have been easing off the last few days. I've gotten sober 4 times in my life now and each time there were nightmares so it seems to be a 'feature' not a 'bug'. :p

All my best to you for 2025!

I've found that Nitraz only hit so nicely the first time I used it during the day. Repeated attempts have failed to achieve the same effect. I guess it might have been because it wasn't something my gaba receptors were expecting, or used to, and so it hit like something new.

W/e is responsible in my brain, immediately adapated though, as it just hasnt hit the same again after that.

Ultimately this is a good thing though, as Nitraz is said to be highly physically addictive, and so really not one for daily use, if at all possible to avoid.

Some Galenkia Rivotril clonaz that I had recently did not taste right. There was no minty sugary taste.

I've just checked some recent Wedinos results and they are now testing as bromazolam , and even clonaz and ketamine in one case

So it's finally happened. That one benzo and brand that seemed a reliable stronghold of non-fakery for years, can no longer be relied upon.

I've probably left it too late again, to get one sent off to Wedinos and tested and then to take it up with the vendor for a replacement.

I'll still get one tested, just for my own sake, but this is a really bad state of affairs.

I rattled hard off nitrazepam after consuming about 1000 without taking breaks spent half a summer in an absolute daze and then suffered for it once they ran out. Half that year is an absolute blur
