Hello, first time posting here. Thought it was worth the effort of registering and actually asking for opinions before messing up badly.
I have been in and out of many prescription drugs, which are all basically OTC where I live.
I had tried Methylphenidate on its own before, original Ritalin, and it was underwhelming, but after learning the basics of how to plug it... Boy, the difference is enormous. I don't do it every day as to not develop a massive tolerance, I keep it mostly for weekends when I feel like talking to a friend or just relaxing while listening to music, as the effects (in me) fade in about 2h, sometimes less, and I avoid compulsively redosing, maybe another one after some six hours or so, but this is rare. Doses also are rarely above 20mg IR dissolved in 4ml of warm water.
Now, for my real questions and concerns;
1/ I notice that my body temperature goes up a few degrees (sometimes) when I plug it. After an hour or so. Let's say, nothing above 37°C (sorry, I'll have to use Celsius lol) which I'm aware is normal when it comes to stims and it doesn't bother me. A cold shower and cold water helps a lot. However---- if I try plugging again, same amount, same stuff, in less than 4h of the first dose, it spikes to 38°C, then I do feel uncomfortable. So I wonder if this happens to everyone who's tried plugging Methylphenidate, or if it's either me or the messed up tropical county I live and its highly elevated ambient temperatures not cooperating with my body.
2/ I also sometimes notice a change in blood pressure during the comedown part of the experience. It becomes elevated (14/9 - 15/9)
But for some reason it doesn't happen all the time and since I'm always monitoring it with a device, it puzzles me as to why it doesn't follow a clear pattern.
3/ When these blood pressure changes occur, they tend to go away fast, but for hours and hours after I plugged, my BPM stays at around 100 on rest, 120 moving. I'm a somewhat sedentary person, but I do make walks almost every day regardless of my ankylosing spondylitis, I'm not overweight, don't drink coffee, eat and drink healthy stuff, so on.
I'm currently 27, by the way.
So yeah, I wonder if anyone can relate to this as I'm aware, plugging Ritalin is not a super common thing and I doubt there are many resources out there about it other than anecdotal reports.
