Kratom Isolated 7-OH-Mitragynine products are beginning to hit the market (!...?)

I just started sampling the Hydroxie 30mg 7-OH shots and initial experience is that it's much more pleasant than regular mitragynine to me. Took my first shot yesterday and trying second shot today.

I get more euphoria and less dysphoria. If this is consistently the case I expect it to be more dependency forming. However, I also expect it to be much safer biologically and socially than other options.

I am still determined to return to abstinence but currently a bit stuck in harm reduction (which right now means only legal and relatively safe substances: kratom, cannabis, and bupe.

Thank you, yes you're right I feel way more withdrawal as well as high with 7OH.

Truth be told the experience is closer to a full rather than partial mu-opioid receptor agonist. Meaning a full on opiate.

I'm seriously considering using Brixadi (time-release injectable formulation of Buprenorphine, smaller dosed the Subblocade though -- which i strongly prefer as I wish to minimize my tolerance long and short term). I've been using suboxone for a few months but at doses 1mg or less and so I can still chip kratom atop it. I need to raise my tolerance to something like 6mg/day to trial any of the time-release injectable bupes. I want to try these because i hear they are easier to withdraw from than oral bupe and ofc they are good at displacing addiction by saturating receptors.

But bottom line: 7OH smacks compared to any other kratom concentrate I've tried. It's good stuff.

Maybe too good. Well, not as good a methadone so I'd say it's still valid harm reduction in comparison. But it's a slipper slope.

How would it be in relieving a jump from 15mgs methadone?
I could feel powder kratom on top of 40mgs but that doesn't mean it would cover w/d.
Kratom gives me a buzz kinda like weed stone.
But I have a pound of it in my cupboard; (as well as a gram of tainted coke), and mushrooms
But methadone, its not easy going down but Im comfortable down to 15mgs after 20 years.
Since it may get me to work in the AM I am considering the clinic for a higher dose as well as controlling the urge to
Cure what ails me when I get dopesick I can sniff out God knows what (blue pills, M30 or viagra), same plug lol

I expect it would help with withdrawals from a 15mg 'done tolerance. It's very potent. I've taken up to 75mg 7oh in a day. Works much more effectively than the strongest mitragynine extracts to say nothing of plain leaf.

At my point I want to cease 7oh as it's too strong and I want to switch to just bupe and taper that.

Yeah, and that's what I'm afraid of. This country does not need an echo of the opioid crisis in easily accessible headshops. That will get kratom banned at hyperspeed.

Mitragynine has a built in overdose safety - wobbles, nausea, dysphoria, if you take too much or abuse it.

Isolated 7-OH might not have that safety net. Kids nodding out at school on this stuff would not be good.

ADHD brains are f--in weird and my MDD has probably forgotten what "euphoria" might feel like, so YMMV, but - when I lost track of my 7OH dose on Sunday, all that happened was a vile, lengthy case of nausea... and IME, it didn't include the stupid-making euphoric boost that made real opiate nausea seem manageable.

Am going to try the "stick with the leaf and add at MOST a smidgen of the 7OH" advice. If something is going to make me strung out, it has to bring major rewards to the table, and all kratom/7OH does is help extend my adhd meds during the shortage, so NOPE.

Still, be warned: the fall 2024 7OH forums scare hell outta me. The people waiting for deliveries sound like strung-out hydro users on the old drugbuyers-dot-com, and they're gonna be unhappy when the pharm lobby gets 7OH controlled.

• FWIW Kibbitz: Taking Maaloxy stuff with your meds might reduce the nausea you feel. --It can't hurt, at least! And nausea is so debilitating.

Not sure it's the reason, but started taking 1/2 a Tums/Maalox with capsules/7OH. Reddit folk were talking about it as a metabolic/potentiator type thing. Am an anti-potentiatiator myself and in no rush, but it seems to fend off the nausea (ginger candies help too, but I never think of them until I'm incapable of ingesting anything).

Kratom pruritis pisses me off too. Stuff that makes me itch should make me high enough to scratch as cheerfully as a crackhead at 3am. The energy is mellow enough that it's great for focused, less stressy workdays, but on weekends I can hit pruritis level and that's bad (Benadryl was a go-to for Codeine, the itchiest opiate of all. But stocking up on Benadryl for kratom might be admitting more than I can handle yet. Sigh.)

Red Betuangie/ part of Borneo. Supposedly has higher levels of 7-OHM.
Ime it indeed felt stronger then their other strains, why almost overdid it.

I honestly think it's the best feel good drug I have ever found. I love getting high on it once per week, to keep tolerance to 0 and to give me something to look forward to
